Was highly recommended by a friend, so went in there for dinner, last night, for the first time. Our experience was a delightful blend of great tasting food and attentive service. While from outside the place looks quite plain, the inner decor and paintings provide a lovely colorful vibe. We tried the Diabilitos (Jalapeño Poppers) , Huachinango Mojo de Ajo (Red Snapper), Chicken Fajitas and Camarones a la Diabla (Shrimps) - all of which were excellent and came with adequate portions. The ending was a beautiful gesture by the restaurant to provide sweet shots of dessert drinks in an decorative air plane model. Great service, Thank You !!!

First time coming here..I'm a truck driver and I had a layover in this city for the night..I went here an the experience was awesome to say the least..drinks were fantastic..food was awesome...the service was super..I encourage anyone who is in town please go an see for yourself...bartender Aldo is super...I WILL BE BACK

This place deserves more than 5 stars! The food and drinks was so delicious and large portions! We ordered the combination plate, the steak fajitas, kids tacos and a chicken taco soup - sooo good!! The service was absolutely wonderful, the people were all great and attentive! The atmosphere was great, even though there was a power outage not by any fault of theirs but that didn’t change anything, they were so great about it! We absolutely loved this place and plan to return! Highly recommended!!!

Outstanding service and delicious food. We were greeted warmly, treated well, and the menu was varied but not too big. Drinks are amazing! Best pina colada around the lake! Our server was Alex and he was incredibly knowledgeable not just about the food, but about the whole business. What a pleasure! We will absolutely be back!

Hosted a family dinner for my mom’s birthday at Chapala and we have nothing but good things to say. They were able to accommodate our large immediate family (20+), the food was fantastic and the servers took great care of us. Overall great experience!
I wish the food was as good as the service The people working were very kind and friendly However despite the good taste of the food in the beginning, 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant our whole party had awful stomach pains and everyone was battling for bathroom wether it was to puke or exploding the toilet Do not eat here unless you want to be in the bathroom for hours

Food was delicious and plentiful. Guacamole prepared at our table was excellent. Service was very slow despite that we were the only ones there. Took forever to get water then more time to get drinks. Good came out hot, plates were hot too. Will give them another try.
