Would be four-five stars but the bartender had our server charge full price for a virgin cocktail . Felt scammed. Club soda,2 mint leaves, 1cucumber slice and some lime juice for 12 dollars. if you ask me, a bartender at a high end restaurant myself, that’s ridiculous. Besides that, service and food we’re good.

We went tonight for dinner . I ordered shrimp scampi over linguini. When the meal came the shrimp were under cooked so I sent two of 5 back and my linguini. All I wanted was my same meal cooked more but they decided to cook a new meal which took a long time. When it came some of the shrimp were undercooked again and the wrong pasta was added. I asked for the owner Mario and he basically argued with me that I ate some of the shrimp and wasn’t going to give me my pasta.I never ate the first pasta either. He charged me for the two meals (wife’s and mine) and only took off our desert. He obviously doesn’t know the correct way to make a customer happy. Would I go back? Not likely and I was a previous customer. Also no lights on outdoor tables.

i use to love this place in my early 20s it was such a great place to reconnect with old class mates enjoy good food on the water with a nice cocktail. I've been goin here for 10 years my father was the chef as well for a period of time. i know the owner very nice guy Mario because of so and his son which is my favorite bar tender ever hands down. also this being my home town bar I've known most of the bartenders from school which is awesome. last night was my first time back in over year i wanted to introduce my girlfriend to one of my favorite places she felt and look gorgeous and wanted to go out for dinner and a cocktail so Pivincis was perfect. it was 830pm was quite maybe 10 people kitchen was open till 10pm we sat down we met the new bar tender Hannah waved to Mario. the bar tender and i exchanged passed employees and connected about how much i loved this place in the past. we ordered wings and two cocktails waited patiently time went on the bar tender Hannah approach us asked my girlfriend if she was ok in a awkward tone of voice which she relayed yes were here for dinner. which was odd but ok it didn't bother us we didn't think anything of it. Hannah leaves and returns and claims she cannot serve us or give us dinner with no exsplation and she refuses service. my girl ask to speak to the owner Mario and makes him aware we are her for dinner and a cocktail we left peacefully after she made the owner of the situation aware we were denied. WE WERE THERE TO HAVE DINNER BOTH OF US WERE IN A SOUND STATE OF MINE. we feel discriminated against and believe the bar tender Hannah is inadequate at her job completely rude nasty and a embarrassment to Pavaincis. being a patron and being a loyal customer for 10 years I'm discussed embarrassed and appalled with the service we received from Hannah. Mario feel free to contact me directly since you may still have my personal phone number and if you do not feel free to contact me threw Facebook since we are friends. i would like to continue to make great memories at Pavaincis but also not feel discriminated against. I'm personally willing to give Pavaincis another try but my lady is extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. Its time to find a new bar tender that can actually do her/his job and not insult discriminate along with being able do her job by giving the customer good service with a smile. we left and had a great dinner and cocktail at mommas in bud lake were the bar tender treated us with elite service along he threw us a free appetizer when we told him what happened at Pavincis.

wait time for service is inacceptable food is average drinks are so so bathrooms need undating the main thing is the service not enough help probably due to covid no hostess to sit you you wait for almost v everything you want from a enjoyable night out music is always good bathrooms men and women is nasty

I am not sure why this place gets only 2.5 stars. I've been here a couple of times and the food is always tasty. Drinks are very good and reasonably priced. Service is ok. They are a little slow and seem to disappear. The lack of busing staff is probably part of the problem. The views of the water are great.

Great place great service great staff great food. Great owner many people complain about waiting too long for their food well it was probably a hot weekend in the summer and very busy, you have a beautiful view of the lake so sit down and relax and enjoy yourself if you want a quick meal go to McDonald's

Was very taken back. Last night was the worse in years. Service was rediculous. Waitress we had should learn respect and lack of experience showed. Don't give the excuse of being busy. Got clams with no butter are you for real. Had to have them taken off bill. Owner mgr. Must have been on vacation. Very disappointed. Will try again in the future.

I just moved to Lake Hopatcong and was looking for a good Italian restaurant that wasn't a pizzeria and this is it. Not sure why there is BBQ ribs,buffalo wings and a burger,maybe that's a Jersey thang. I love their chicken dishes and pastas. Some homemade salad dressings would be greatly appreciated.
I was there last Thursday for the Line Dancing and it was so much fun! I think it was the first night they’re doing it but hopefully they’re going to do it every week. Everybody had a great time! The bartender Hannah I think was her name was very nice and my only disappointment is the kitchen closed 20 minutes early but that wasn’t really a tragedy. All in all it was a fun night and I really hope that they start doing things like that in the future.

Nice Italian place with outdoor seating facing the marina. Gnocchi was delicious.. The restaurant has good bar and bartender. They host live music events too., however there wasn't anything planned on the day I visited. A good place to stop by for dinner if you are at lake Hopatcong!!

Food is delicious and view is gorgeous. Portion size is great as you can see in the photos. Staff were very attentive. Had an amazing time eating dinner as we watched the sunset! Took beautiful pictures in front of the water and boats. I’d love to go back again.

Beautiful view of Lake Hopatcong with outdoor deck, weekends have great bands to entertain, and Sunday nights is karoake. Something for everyone! Food is good, brunch is terrific, and we have enjoyed everything from pizza, to pasta, to burgers and chops. No complaints, and specials on the menu never disappoint. Great value!!
