We recently had our rehearsal dinner at The Beacon and it was amazing. The staff were so accommodating with our decorations and requests and the food was delicious ! With access to the outdoor patio right from their event space it was such a hit with our guests and we were able to get beautiful photos as well :)

We ordered takeout tonight on doordash. The food was ok but did not match the doordash menu description. The Pear Salad came with goat cheese, not gorgonzola like doordash menu states, and only came with arugula, not mixed greens per the doordash description. The shrimp added-on were good. For $24 I expected more from the salad.
The crab dip tasted good, but the portion was very small for $18 doordash price and even the $16 in house price honestly. It looked like one serving spoon size, and came with a handful of tortilla chips.
The chicken sandwich was good.
It may have just been a takeout issue, but we probably wouldn't order from/dine here again.

If you are going to ask how do you want your hamburger cooked, then bring them out with something indicating how it’s cooked. Three burgers ordered, one rare as possible, two medium rare. They all came out looking like the burger in the corner of your grill that was forgot about all night. Well done would be a word, or annihilated would be more accurate. Overwhelmed bartenders trying their best but there should have been more. Great looking restaurant, great entertainment, but not a great night for food and drinks.

Beautiful restaurant. Open and sleek with a touch of country. Wonderful views of the lake from most tables and the bar. Unfortunately it was cold and raining so couldn't take advantage of the outdoor seating. Went for lunch and will be coming back for some of the events they have advertised. The coffee machine wasn't working when we got there but when it started to, the coffee was great. Our waitress was bubbly and very helpful and gave great recommendations on food. We had the brussel sprouts (amazing), calamari (perfectly crispy), and shrimp and grits (loved). For our meals, we had fish and chips, which my boyfriend said was nicely fried, but his Cesar salad was way too dressed. 'S' had the pork chop with a great mountain of mashed potatoes and more brussel sprouts (lucky), the Styx burger cooked to perfection (rice for dad's gumbo would have taken 40min) and I had the Mardi Gras pasta a little too heavy but ? . I also tried the Paloma and the Antioxidant cocktails. Both were very nice. Also, the bathroom was beautiful and gender neutral. Sinks along the wall and separate 'rooms' house the actual toilets. Ps, sorry, I don't know what happened to my appetizer pics ?

The server was so horrendous it was nearly comical. We never received our appetizers, our food was served cold and with an attitude. We went to the bar to get another round of drinks because she never came back to us and she was sort of scary. When we asked for our check she just told us the price. We asked for a check or print out and this seemed to upset her. The young lady hostessing was polite but maybe not experienced enough to handle the restaurant on a Saturday night. I would say this server was the worst I have ever experienced. The Beacon is an attractive dining venue right on the lake. Probably a nice atmosphere if not for the poor service. The menu was nice for casual dining, family friendly and with fun drink selections. I very rarely write reviews. I just thought to warn other people so as not to have their night ruined.

Honestly wow. Amy was an amazing waitress with 10/10 service, and the way she took care of us was outstanding. The food, was incredible. My steak was tough but I didn’t make a complain and they copped it. I was shocked. We got oysters, salmon, rib eye, and it was amazing. The veggies, Brussels sprouts were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I can’t complain this place is great. Come here for lake views great food and awesome drinks well made. Impressed with this place!!!

The view of the lake is breathtaking! Everyone from the hostess to the bartender to the waitress was incredibly friendly and most importantly the food was delish! The burgers are amazing, one of the best on the lake and the environment is very clean, well decorated and the live entertainment was perfect background, very nice. 5 out of 5 from me.
