Menu
Arooga's is a restaurant that offers a casual dining experience. While it has had its ups and downs, the food can be good, but not always consistent. The nachos have been known to be over-salted and the cheese not melted. The Big Pretzel is a decent option, but can be a bit doughy. The wings are a highlight, served hot and a step up from other wing joints, though some find the original wings disappointing. The burgers are average but enjoyed by families, and the homemade coleslaw is a 10 out of 10. The Amish Pierogies with dipping sauce are yummy, and the chips are homemade. The service can be hit-or-miss, with long waits between orders and drinks, but the bartenders like Anthony are attentive and great for sports talk. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with quiet booths and plenty of TVs for game days. Portions are huge, especially for kids, and the staff is nice even with little ones. Parking is easy, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with large walkways. With its extensive side options and tasty fare, Arooga's is worth a visit, especially for a casual game-day gathering.
