Phenomenal! Delicious food and friendly, genuine people. So glad I found this hidden gem! I was craving pizza but then K thought to look into Caribbean food and support my fellow Jamaicans- glad I did! Great food and great people!! Can’t say that enough!!!! I will be back here EVERY time I come to New Jersey to visit my partner’s family!

i paid $25 for a damn kids meal the amount of food they give you and the size of the pan for the amount of money they charge does not add up never will get my service again

Horrible customer service, the workers decide when to close early or not they don’t stick with the schedule that’s shown both in person and online. Placed an order at 8pm for a pick up and when I got there at 8:15 it was closed and they refused to give me a refund or give what I paid for the next day.

Stood there standing for patties while the two ppl there at 3pm just looked at me while chatting. All i want is two patties, it should take 5 minutes and not me waiting here for 20 minutes for two already-made patties that I'm staring at while the kitchen staff does non-emergent tasks.

First time there today … me and my friend went and ordered curry chicken and goat .. the food was literally the worst “Caribbean” food I’ve ever ordered .. and way overpriced after eating it … the rice tastes like white rice .. the chicken quality is not good .. I’m Caribbean and this ain’t it .. my friend was white and said it was bland .. don’t recommend .. the staff barely spoke .. cabbage eh.. they give you ONE PIECE OF plantain .. will never go back … threw out the chicken order
Only reason why this place is getting three stars is because I had a problem with ordering through DoorDash with them. I ordered at around 1:40pm A woman called me from the restaurant at around 2:15pm and told me I had to wait an hour for oxtail and veggies, I said it was OK. They canceled my order an hour later when I’m expecting my food to be done which of course im going to be upset. Their reasoning : delivery drivers were coming to pick up the order but it still wasn’t ready yet. I called back got the explanation, that’s what I got and I asked is the oxtail ready now ? I was told yes but when I check on Door dash its sold out and after a while its not a choice at all like its completely off the menu. to add on top off that it’s already 4pm and I’m not cool with having to wait for food that’s been under the heat lamp just drying away. It’s not fresh anymore so reluctantly imma have to order somewhere else. I’m extremely annoyed with the fact that they couldn’t call me back to let me know that they were going to cancel my order and I spent $60 on that. I got $34 refunded and a express delivery but it’s the principle of just communicating with your customers especially if it’s gonna be that expensive
Update: I ordered the stew chicken because I really didn’t want any other place for dinner. Im sure it’ll be fine but I would really hate to limit myself from ordering from this place. It’s very rare to find real Jamaican food in Howell!

Great service, great location, nasty food. Ive gone back on 4 different occasions at 3 different times before leaving this review. The oxtails use to be so good here. Now they’re very dry even though I always ask for extra gravy, and they are not tender at all. I use to really love the oxtails here. I don’t know what happened but I’m never wasting my money here again.

Caribbean Vibes is under new management, and I'm happy to say that the food is fantastic!
Nice ratio to proportion (some places give way too much rice and a minimum serving of meat), the woman behind the counter is friendly and there's plenty of parking.
I have had their oxtail, curry chicken, curry goat and ackee and saltfish; all delicious.
Vegetarian options: I noticed the menu offered a vegetable stew (can't recall what it was actually called) and also a vegetable patty.
Parking: Parking is available in the strip mall.
