We had a delicious breakfast, and the French Toast and chocolate chip pancakes were incredible! But the service was absolutely the BEST our waitress was so pleasant, sweet and funny. I'm definitely coming back just to see her!!
Had the cutest valentines hotcoco. Think it was about 4 dollars. Colonial coffee shop is the best . Sometimes its the small details that make you the best and make the customer keep coming back.

We came for the coffee but had ourselves a meal too, and it was all delicious. Our coffees (pictured) were more affordable than what you’d get at Dunkin! Very attentive staff and a solid menu - not overwhelming, but had all the diner classics. Looking forward to coming back!

If you’re looking for a traditional, quaint coffee shop, The Colonial Coffee Shop on Rt 9 N in Howell is the place to go. Family run and operated, it is a throwback to yesteryear where you get personal service and home cooked breakfast or lunch. No frills atmosphere with fair prices. (Across Route 9 from Shoprite going north) Oh, and the coffee was perfect!
My wife and I just happened to stumble on this place through a Google search looking for a place for breakfast. And we're both very glad we did. WOW! From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile. And it only got better from there. I got pancakes and eggs with a side of home fries and corned beef hash and my wife get french toast with eggs home fries and sausage. All of the food was fantastic and great portion sizes. The service was outstanding and we were treated very well. I absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a friendly welcoming environment with great food and service. We will definitely be going back again!!!
