It’s been a while since I’ve had a frutta bowl. This was the first time I was disappointed. The base was frozen. I did not pick up my order, so I’m not sure… but it seemed like the base was premade, stored in plastic bowl, kept in freezer, then added toppings to order. Base was horrible. Ice crystals.. no flavor.

I always go to the Frutta in raintree and absolutely love it, never had any issues. Today I tried this one and was very disappointed. I ordered a to go order in the store it was prepared and ready to go within 10 minutes. I drove 5 minutes back home opened the bag and my bowls were soup. It was completely warm and barely had anything in it. There was close to no granola or toppings. I was extremely upset with how I received my food. I love their food and am there usually 1/2 a week so having this was very shocking. I unfortunately will continue to go just to the raintree location.

Frutta Bowls has always been really quick to accept and prepare my delivery order. I always have everything when my order arrives, and what I order can actually last a while (I usually get a bowl, smoothie, and a toast). It’s pretty refreshing, especially when you want something more light to eat.
This place is on its way out now that we have Playa in town, just go there. Frutta bowls you get far less value, half frozen bowls. Staff is not nearly as nice and happy as at playa. There’s a reason Playa is packed every time I go and Frutta is

Kid-friendliness: it’s a very kid friendly place, i’m not sure they would want to sit there and eat fruit bowls like the rest of us lol
Wheelchair accessibility: little ramp up the sidewalk was great for wheelchairs

I went here today. I ordered a bowl and the açaí bowl was frozen solid. I couldn’t eat it for 30 minutes. Once I tried it tasted old. And it tasted like it had freezer burn. And they ask you for tip even before you get your bowl which seems silly. Very expensive for a frozen bowl. I will not return. I prefer playa bowl it’s never frozen.
Qt of açaí seems to have decreased with increase of granola and they over use the honey and or Nutella .

I used to love them but lately they started giving you like 2 spoons of açai and tones of toppings… I don’t know how they aren’t embarrassed to charge me for that… literally 2 spoons of açai… very disappointed I used to come here a lot but I don’t think I’m coming back… I’m not paying that much for toppings
