It's a gem right off of 195! The ambiance was inviting and spotlessly clean. Some of the menu items I recognized but I'm happy that I tried some new things. We had beef and pork and they were both perfectly cooked. I love plantains—can't go wrong here. Also, our waitress was very friendly and helped explain some of the unfamiliar items.

Some of the food isn't too bad. Meat and beans are just " way too salty" for my taste. Ordered pernil and got more fat / soggy skin than anything. Pernil overpriced for receiving alot of fat and soggy/flabby skin..and too salty. Arroz con gandules dry. Taste is authentic. Just too salty.
A Must Go! You will not be disappointed! The service, atmosphere, and food are FANTASTIC and has such GREAT flavors!

SO DELICIOUS! the pork chops and seasoned rice were to die for, especially with their hot sauce on top. Service is a bit slow but you can tell they are working hard!
