The food here taste good. The staff is very nice. I had the white rice, legume, griot. The griot pieces that I got were a bit fatty, but some were not and they tasted very good. But the small combo came with salad and piklis which I asked for on the side. The piklis was good. The rice and beans is also good. On Friday they have seafood and I did try the legume with crab and supposedly shrimp. I was told there would be shrimp, but there wasn't but there was crab and it tasted so good, I almost ate the shell as well. It was the best crab in legume, I've ever had in my life. This is definitely a good place for Haitian food. I will try more and be back with my opinion on the soup joumou and salads. They have those on Sundays. The food taste good and fresh.

I paid for seafood legumes and end up with beef legumes. This was my first and last time I am ordering from Apanou

I ordered 2 dozen Haitian patties over the phone. They made pate kodé ( which is not at all the same thing) and charged me $5 per. I wasn’t looking for that item but felt obligated to pay since they had taken the time to make them. Adding insult to injury, the pads kode had random ingredients like eggs and hot dogs in each one. Alson, I ended up with bubble guts and the runs for 2 days.

Do not eat here. The food is horrible. Definitely not what real Haitian food should taste like. I ordered a fritay with fried goat and could not eat the food the ackra was not ackra the goat was so hard and uneatable. The marinad was sour and old as well as the fried plantains. This was a waste of my money. I will never go back.

They gave me 3 little peices of Turkey.I cried because it was a craving. I gave the food to my 7 year old and got Spanish food instead. The workers were nice but I was disappointed. Never again. I'll go back to Jacobs restaurant.

Ordered a fish fritay platter and a griot fritay platter and was very disappointed!! The griot was basically left over pieces from the bottom of the pot. Just Griot dust!!!! The fish was spoiled!!!! Smelled and tasted si and not eatable. I felt bad throwing it away because i hate wasting food, but it was really my money that got wasted. That was first time ordering there and most definitely my last. This place will get you sick!

I ordered a small fried turkey white rice. The fried turkey came with five pieces of bones and cartilage, and not one piece of meat was on the bones, all I could eat was rice wish it came with plantain or salad at least, overall very disappointed, I'm unsatisfied and still hungry.
