Just okay to me. Nothing spectacular. They said vegetables buts it’s one big ole cabbage. Rice and beans 3 beans all rice. Portions are big though. I just wouldn’t come back.

They have a tip is greatly appreciated sign, for me the tip is in the huge price increase. I reached home no condiments, i know dumb of me not asking for some, but they asking for tips. Food isn't that good. I'll stay with the Stuyvesant Avenue location.

Do not eat here, if you must I recommend the location in Union. Pepe’s BBQ in West Orange way better, and packed with flavor and tenderness for $3 less. This place has fallen off. I ordered a half chicken rice and beans and the chicken is so dry and overcooked I ended up throwing it away, it tastes like it’s old, the rice and beans has 0 seasoning!! I wish I ate in the restaurant because I would have requested a refund immediately. Their prices have gone up and the quality is 0 the plate should be free. Finally I asked for their bbq sauce on the side and they gave me regular sweet baby ray’s bbq sauce not their homemade sauce. I will not be returning ever.
