My second time ordering from here! The skins are extremely undercooked and tough as nails almost broke my tooth attempting to eat it. The food quality is a hit or Miss so don’t expect consistency from here. You know we make conscious efforts to support black businesses and $35 sadly I will no longer be supporting this establishment again.

Nice feeling and hunger
Generally nice African food
This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant this time the food was super spicy to the point. I couldn’t even eat it and it was burning my stomach. I ordered the Okra stew With pound yam I will never order that again. It needs not to be so spicy to the point you can’t eat it.the Efo Riro was delicious and the egusi was delicious. The pepper snail was delicious. I had to throw away the okra still just couldn’t eat it. It shouldn’t be so spicy to the point you can’t eat it.
Eatwell has been consistently awesome for many years now. Everything on their menu is spot on. The service and food presentation are equally great. And you can also order off UberEats as well.
Unlike some other places, they're always looking to improve their quality and service.

I recently dined at EATWELL New Jersey restaurant and had an amazing experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.—Absolutely delicious food! I highly recommend trying the rice with the fried stew , it was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat. Five stars!"

This is the first place, where I’ve tried African food for the first time. The Efo Riro and Egusi is excellent ( I don’t know any other place to compare ) however, the okra soup was very liquid. It’s not like what I’ve seen on tv at all. It wasn’t as slimy as I was looking for. It was almost like pea soup, very watery. The meat is usually very tough, as I don’t have another place to compare, I’m not sure if that’s the way Africans like their meat cooked. Other than the bad experience with the okra, I will probably eat there again.
