I was a loyal supporter of this business, but after today, I’m honestly over the repeated issues. My food was not fully cooked — again. I purchased pate kode and fritay, and once I got to the middle, the dough was completely uncooked. This isn’t the first or even the second time this has happened, and it’s frustrating to feel like my money keeps going down the drain.

What I’ve noticed is that when artists or special guests are visiting, everything seems to be on point. But on regular days, the quality just isn’t consistent. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and improve.

I recently hired Epis Grill to cater a Gala event for my nonprofit organization and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional. From the very beginning the owner was easy to communicate with and you can feel how passionate he is about the food he makes. That alone gave me a lot of confidence going into the event.

We ordered rice and beans, macaroni au gratin, diri djon djon, beet salad, jerk chicken and stew turkey. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted fresh. Throughout the night guests kept coming up to me talking about how good the food was. It really brought the whole event together in the best way.

The entire process was smooth and stress free and I appreciate how reliable and professional the service was. I will definitely continue booking Epis Grill for future events. They truly helped make our night special.

Customer service is horrible. Everybody there has attitudes They’ll make you wait 20+ minutes even if you order ahead of time. The lalo is watery, the griyo is salty n stale. They only care when Haitian artists visit

I placed an order with them, I drove 45 minutes to pick it up, when I got there my food wasn’t ready so I left cause I was running late for work, I still ordered on DoorDash but they gave me a lil bit of food. Call to give a feedback the person on phone told it’s whatever. Customer service poor.

My family ordered a large platter of black rice and a large platter of griot for an event (which was to come with plantains and sauce).  We got to the event and the restaurant forgot to give the sauce and plantains.  Additionally, the griot appeared to be boiled and then baked but not fried (although the flavor was truly on point).  Hubby called to let the restaurant know about the mishap, and all he got was an apology, no effort to correct the mistake.  Guest at our  event, including myself, were saddened as we all know the texture of griot, and we all know sauce goes with the rice.

I try to give full and honest reviews.  This is not coming from a hater.  My family are solid supporters of your business, however we are at a point where we are tired of the mishaps (in the last year we have purchased boulette that appeared to be uncooked, but was actually cooked but we later concluded red sazon must have been used, we also purchased soggy bullet, as well as Fritay, that appeared to be cooked in old oil etc).

Please do better.  We have not given up on this restaurant yet, but we are one mishap away from doing so.

This establishment should not be in business. I’ve ordered before about a year ago and the food was ok- just ok. My usual place was closed for the day so I decided to give Epis Grill another chance. I ordered legume with rice and sos pwa. It quite literally was terrible. Not only did it NOT taste authentic it tasted spoilt. Like it was cooked days prior and they reheated it and sat out all day. Crunchy pieces of cabbage and carrots with two large pieces of gristle, no meat. I will never give this restaurant my money again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, well you know the rest.

Owners like this one is the reason people stop supporting their own people business. I've been a customer for a few months now and had enjoyed the food. However, today I received the wrong food. I called to see if I can rectify it. The man who answered the phone as it appears to be his personal number has an attitude. His solution was to order more stuff so I can the food that I previously ordered. This is absurd, i used uber eats which has an absurd fee so it was not feasible to me. He proceeded to explain to me that he only gets 30% of what I paid and all the excuses. He then asked rudely do I want him to leave his house. That's not how you run the business. He claim I'm being difficult because I didn't want to spend more money to get what I originally paid for. Business like his will always fail because their attitude sucks. I can't support people who treat their customers like this.

They put shrimp in my food and I never asked for shrimp mind you I’m allergic to shrimp I ate shine off the food not knowing there was shrimp in it and I had to go to the hospital I almost died

I placed the order for delivery with this Restaurant on Uber eats. I am Haitian and know exactly what I want and how I would like my food. I placed vivid notations and paid extra for everything that I wanted the food and service was disgusting!!!!! The number that is listed is not the number for the restaurant that is someone’s personal phone. I’m guessing one of the owners and he was extremely disrespectful, aggressive, and nasty when asking questions about my order. There’s so many Haitian restaurants in the area. I highly recommend you do not go to this one.

I’ve been here before And the food was OK and the manager was nice and welcoming. But as far as today, I went to order something for lunch, excited and anticipating the good food. When I reached home, I seen the disgusting mess. The gravy is watery. The spinach does not look like spinach. The only thing good is the rice. So when I called the manager and explain to him what happened, rather than him making it right, he says to me oh other people ordered the meal before and they’re not complaining. Unprofessional, the food was nasty and the apology didn’t make it any better. Bad service, don’t go, nasty food. If I can rate this zero stars, I would. Terrible
