Owners like this one is the reason people stop supporting their own people business. I've been a customer for a few months now and had enjoyed the food. However, today I received the wrong food. I called to see if I can rectify it. The man who answered the phone as it appears to be his personal number has an attitude. His solution was to order more stuff so I can the food that I previously ordered. This is absurd, i used uber eats which has an absurd fee so it was not feasible to me. He proceeded to explain to me that he only gets 30% of what I paid and all the excuses. He then asked rudely do I want him to leave his house. That's not how you run the business. He claim I'm being difficult because I didn't want to spend more money to get what I originally paid for. Business like his will always fail because their attitude sucks. I can't support people who treat their customers like this.

I placed the order for delivery with this Restaurant on Uber eats. I am Haitian and know exactly what I want and how I would like my food. I placed vivid notations and paid extra for everything that I wanted the food and service was disgusting!!!!! The number that is listed is not the number for the restaurant that is someone’s personal phone. I’m guessing one of the owners and he was extremely disrespectful, aggressive, and nasty when asking questions about my order. There’s so many Haitian restaurants in the area. I highly recommend you do not go to this one.

I’ve been here before And the food was OK and the manager was nice and welcoming. But as far as today, I went to order something for lunch, excited and anticipating the good food. When I reached home, I seen the disgusting mess. The gravy is watery. The spinach does not look like spinach. The only thing good is the rice. So when I called the manager and explain to him what happened, rather than him making it right, he says to me oh other people ordered the meal before and they’re not complaining. Unprofessional, the food was nasty and the apology didn’t make it any better. Bad service, don’t go, nasty food. If I can rate this zero stars, I would. Terrible

We went to the restaurant thinking it was going to be good, first the customer service was terrible and make me want to not come back. 2nd The food was overhyped, it was terrible. The bouillon was not bad but whatever meat they use is terrible, the yam was uncooked. Diri ak pwa was horrible. The pork was not has bad.

My office ordered food from this place. First off, the Legume was served in a small plastic container rather than the aluminum plater like the rice. Second, the food is filled with oil. My legume (beef) had a chicken bone and beef bone. The griot was bland like a white lady made it. Like really!
This is so disappointing and disrespectful. The guy who picked it up the phone would not take accountability. His response was that " Haitian are always breaking Haitian businesses"! I called because the response to all the reviews have been "to call the restaurant before writing a review". His complaint was that "I was saying something that did not make sense" If this guy is the owner, son, husband or boyfriend, he will be the demise of this restaurant. Our office always has representatives to buy us lunch. Well, we know now to take our business elsewhere. Please revamp your menu and presentation or close your establishment. Since you could not respond properly on the phone, don't do it now on this review! Thank you for allowing me to waste my hard-earned money on this tasteless, mix up of meat, garbage you call food! Epis dat it!

DON'T EAT HERE!!!!!! ZERO STARS!!!
I ordered fried turkey with rice and beans. The presentation alone was not well thought out. The meat had a couple of griot pieces in it with no taste. The sauce was filled with so much oil. The pikliz was trash! It tasted like coleslaw with absolutely no flavor. Whoever cooked this food this morning should have called out because you can feel the energy in the food. I wasted $20 in a time where the economy is not good but you want to support one of your own. Please don't respond back to this because I just got off the phone with someone claiming to be the owner that told me that everything I was complaining about was not valid and that I am lying and I just don't know the difference between griot and turkey. This man took no accountability and did not allow me to speak when I was trying to get my point across to the point I ended up hanging up the phone. He stated that Haitians are always trying to sabotage other Haitian business when in fact before leaving this review, I said let me call first so I don't mess with their rating and also if we are sabotaging, why are we ordering here in the 1st place? Since I could not get a word in, here I am writing this review. The person who answered the phone needs to take a business 101 class on customer service!

I was happy to find a Haitian restaurant with good reviews. However, my experience was not good at all. I ordered chicken with sauce and rice/beans and soup (which was pumpkin/soup joumou). Waited 20 minutes after ordering. When I got to my location with my food which was less than 10minutes away, I found the soup completely cold. Not warm, cold. How? I don’t know. Can only assume they did not reheat the soup or was already prepared in the container before time. The chicken and rice were taken from the warming containers in front, so I couldn’t understand why the order took 20 minutes when the soup was cold and the chicken/rice/beans was already prepared. The chicken was ok, the rice/beans was good, and it came with a small spoonful of Mac/cheese, which was also good. The soup was mostly pumpkin broth, with some cabbage, a few carrots, a piece of tough grizzle, a couple of noodles, no meat. Very disappointing. The food definitely was not worth the $27 price point, for its quality.

What's the point of pre-ordering catering food for 1pm when its not going to be ready? Went there at 2pm and still had to wait 35 min because they were making it just then. I had to pick up other things and completly delayed my event. I will never order from here again because they are unrealiable.

Officially done with this business. The food is better than most Haitian restaurants near me sometimes salty but doable. However the service is trash. I ordered lalo one time they forgot my crab that I paid extra money for $5 to be exact. Instead of taking a refund I allowed the owner to say next time he will make sure I will get my crab with no charge as long as I called in first. I called in one day to do exactly what I was told and the owners brother had very little patience and kept trying to redirect me to order from 3rd party without hearing what I had to say about the crab. I ended up not ordering after going back and forth and would rather order when the owner is available. So I decide to try them again and call the owner and the owner insinuates that I’m just trying to get free crab. So insulting to think I’m lying about $5 crab. If that was the case I shouldn’t be eating out. Next time I will request a full refund with door dash before I let a business say “next time we’ll fix it.”

I called around 6:00 pm placing an order of fried goat fritay platter for pick up. I advised the male on the phone that I was coming about 45 mins away and he said okay it will be ready for you. Upon arriving I advised the young lady at the desk that I called ahead of time to place an order because I was driving from a long distance and she told me well the guy you spoke to is not here and I don’t know what to tell you. It’s very disrespectful when you try to support small businesses and they don’t even care. I should have read the reviews before coming here and I would not EVER waste my type coming back. The staff is very disorganized!

I visited the restaurant yesterday for Fritay and to my surprise they included potato salad and mac gratin with meal. They offer this add on as a bonus for Sundays only, it was delicious. Service was fast and ladies behind counter were nice! Definitely coming back and highly recommend.
