Amazing, amazing, amazing. So good that I ate my first plate of the rice and bean and fish with the spicy veggies and then ordered a second to go! The food was amazing and staff was so kind to this American girl from NYC!!! I’m so grateful my friend brought me here. It’s very hard to find very very good Haitian food made with per love!!!

There is a take out area seperate from the dining area. The place is not huge but the flavors of the food are a big deal. Will definitely return as this was my first time eating haitian food. The portions served are also fulfilling 👌🏽

The fries are not bad but the way they talk to you makes you afraid to ask for the menu, there is no courtesy at all, it is the only Haitian business that thinks bad character is a good thing

Selling spoiled, expired food!!! The health department should have them fix their inadequate food handling safety. Will never buy here again. This restaurant used to be the next Haitian food in Essex county. Last five times I bought food from them was thrown in the garbage!!!!

This was my second time here and just like the last time it felt congested and the attitudes were apparent. When ordering I’m greeted by disgruntled faces and attitudes that could be felt everywhere in the room. The food is great but the service could and should be better. You could see that they show more love towards their friends who walk into the restaurant rather than new faces . Instead of being angry be glad that you have a successful business and able to employ locals. Not sure if I’ll be back but I will never tell friends coming to the area about this spot like someone did to me. If I’m spending my hard working money I’d like to be treated with respect and not waved off by the hand by employees who barely want to take my order. The lady who served me I assume was the owner who just makes up prices on minuscule items as she goes. The cashier was also rude and only handed my receipt and turned her back never stated thank you or even a goodbye nor was I greeted before taking my order. This was so disheartening I barely enjoyed the food. I’ll also post photos of the food that was heavily plated (the only thing good out of that place). I assume a lot of locals enjoy the food from this place and that’s the only reason they may still be in business. You all are literally putting yourselves as a black business in a small box to never get business outside of your local area. Btw I travelled from NC for a function and decided to drive an hour because of the food (and I mean the food only)

First time I had Sprimp they were very good..Second time shrimp was overcooked..Will give another try..Maybe could I had first time was off that day,lol..JUST my take on this,hard to get parking and let's say bad elements out sidedoor.Call delivery service to bring to you,much easier.
