I ordered oxtail and cabbage the oxtails were fatty and the food was lukewarm I also ordered a side of chicken which had to have been frozen or in the fridge to long and then put on the microwave I was very disappointed. I would recommend if you decide to try it don’t get you hopes up The food was definitely not worth the money

Customer service is terrible. don’t bother calling ahead because you’ll be waiting. Jerk chicken isn’t great, it’s more like baked chicken.

This food is pure 100% authentic Caribbean eats!! Super flavorful the oxtails fall off the bone the jerk chicken is perfectly cooked straight from the grill packed with marinated flavor the cabbage is sooooo tasty I will be going back here for sure. This is one of those small spots where it taste Like family is in the kitchen cooking and loving their job! Thank you

THE ONLY THING IM GOING TO SAY IS PLEASSSSSEEEEE RUN PASS THIS PLACE. I should’ve read the reviews as I always do! BUT PLEASE RRREEEEAAAADDDDD MINE! EVERYTHING we ordered was horrible and uneventful HATED we wasted $67!! 😡😡😡😡😡

We passed by at this place Sunday and my husband and I decided to give it a try since I love oxtails. Got oxtail, curry goat and jerk chicken. While waiting the owner chatted with us and she was very nice, so as the server. Ambiance is great too and place is well kept. Now on the food part- my husband and I are kinda disappointed- I tried curry goat first, the color is very attractive but it lacks the curry aroma and the taste. Portion is great. The plantain/maduros is not ready yet(on the hard side). I trued the oxtail cause I was already disappointed with the goat and it’s the same thing very bland but meat is tender. My hubby’s jerk chicken is all spicy but nothing else no flavor whatsoever. And chicken was dry like it’s overcooked. I gave 3 stars cause as I’ve said people are very nice. Though food needs improvement.

DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY MUST BE HAVING BOTS WRITE GOOD REVIEWS! I just had the most disappointing and disgusting meal here. Don’t be fooled by the friendly lady at the counter or the Jamaican accents – this is NOT authentic Jamaican food. The meat was dry, burnt, and drowning in sauce to hide the lack of flavor. The rice was bland, clumpy, and had such a weird, off taste that even my mom spit it out. The cabbage was soggy, and worst of all, the plantains were completely black and burnt – absolutely inedible.
To make matters worse, there’s a big sign that says “No Refunds.” That should have been the first warning – they clearly know the food is bad and don’t want to be held accountable. I even brought some to my stepfather, who is still in the hospital and had just been allowed off NPO (no food by mouth). He said the rice and meat tasted strange and the chicken wasn’t fresh. Honestly, I’m scared this food could make him sick. That says everything.
This is not a good representation of Jamaican cuisine. Real Jamaican food is flavorful and fresh, not burnt, sloppy, and questionable in quality. Save yourself the money and the disappointment – go somewhere else.

This place is amazing. We are from NY and have not found an authentic Jamaican restaurant to call home yet. My husband brought me home jerk chicken one day and I was in love. He suggested we go today for steamed fish made to order, fresh. The fish is so flavorful, with okra and all the dressings. 10/10. They have a live DJ, fresh juice and amazing staff. The owners is a beautiful soul and extremely welcoming.

Such delicious Oxtail I had here!!!! They were so very very nice. I could not finish my whole plate, I had a lot of rice left. The nice people working there actually added more cocktail meat for me to have later on.

Everything about this place is a VIBE. From the dancehall & reggae attracting you from the street to the train caboose feel of the venue.

But what impressed me most was not only was the food full of flavor but the service was super fast.

The owners/chefs were super friendly and attentive.

My son ate a small jerk chicken platter and part of my spouse's curry platter and then asked for a mini. Smdh. That's how yummy the food was. Whenever we come up to visit, we now have a new favorite Jamaican spot.
