I had an amazing experience with KB Smokehouse! The service is always great, and the food is absolutely delicious. Ariel, the receptionist, is the sweetest—so kind, professional, and understanding. I had ordered a catfish platter via Uber Eats, and unfortunately, the fish wasn’t fully cooked through. It was late, and since the restaurant was close to closing and I was still at work, I couldn’t go back in person.
I called the restaurant, and Ariel picked up. After I explained the situation, she handled everything with such care and made sure the issue was resolved quickly. Her customer service alone deserves a 10/10.
As for the food—it’s amazing! Their catfish platter is one of my favorites, and their prices are very reasonable. Overall, KB Smokehouse has definitely gained a loyal new customer. I absolutely love this place!

This is the worst food I have ever tasted and I truly wish I could receive every dollar back! Ordered on Uber Eata, their BOGO honey salmon dinner.. disgusting! The salmon had absolutely no flavor just covered in honey… overly sweet and tasteless. The macaroni salad was worst than the salmon and the rice had hard parts to it. I am pissed Uber Eats did not give me my money back. I Will Never ever order from this establishment again! Frankly, I’d rather be hungry!

KBs smokehouse is 99% trash compactor. I’m so upset that I had to write this. Don’t waste your money time or patience with this business. As I walked in the old lady working the front was rude & the prices are high for the quality of food let alone the portions they give you. The salmon was frozen already battered that taste like Gordon fish in the yellow bag at your nearest supermarket. The jerk sauce was just sweet baby rays bbq sauce mixed with hot sauce. The Mac & cheese was just that! Macaroni with cheese sauce, no sign of actual shreded cheese in sight with enough garlic powder to make you forget it was Mac & cheese. Undercooked yams, overcooked pulled pork & don’t get me started on the blueberry raspberry lemonade which is just blue raspberry koolaid smfh. I am disappointed to call this a black own business.

The inside is very nice and welcoming until you get to the older woman at the front that is suppose to take your order. She gave me attitude when I was ordering food which already was a turn off and should have been a sign for me to walk out. I ordered a main dish as well as sides from there and I wish I never did. The salmon alone, the part of the meal that’s suppose to be the star of the show was clearly frozen and lathered with jerk sauce to top it off. When have you ever eaten salmon with a fishy after taste unless it was obviously frozen prior. I’m really disappointed in my meal and won’t be returning.

Overpriced for what they serve, and no customer service. I ordered a pound of ribs for $22. After driving 30 minutes home, I opened the bag and found only about 4–5 pieces of ribs. Since the portion seemed REALLY off, I called the store and confirmed with the cashier that they had mispacked a half-pound instead of a full pound for my order. The cashier admitted their mistake but offered no resolution.
I asked for a refund for the difference — $11 for half a pound — but he said he couldn’t. I asked to speak to the manager, and he told me the manager wasn’t there but could give me a number to call myself. At this point, I was really annoyed and demanded that the manager call me instead. She did later that day.
Her explanation? That a pound of ribs is about 7 pieces, and since I got 5, I could come back to the store to pick up the missing 2 ribs. $11 for 2 ribs, excuse me?
Of course, I’m not driving another half hour to fix their mistake. That’s why I’m writing this review: check your order before leaving, because they won’t take responsibility if they mess it up.

I usually get the jerk chicken platter. I wasn't in a spicy mood last night, so I got the honey salmon. Gyatdam. Phenomenal sides. Good portions. GREAT service. You're family when you're there. I'll remain a loyal regular customer.
Food is good a little pricey but if you want tender juicy succulent meat this is the place I prefer my meat a little bit dry pause

Meat has the right crispiness. even their kale we tried we didn’t know what we were going to think and feel about it; — Just because we’re particular about Kayle—and also because (and pardon the side tracked statement) we hadn’t met anything as good as a soul food spot in Brooklyn with their crispy kale version—; until KB’s BBQ Smokehouse kale 🥬 wow The texture choices of KB’s preparation 🤩 I mean they get it!! They understand nailing down some of the most undisputed flavor profiles. And I am not saying there are not other dives whom doesn’t get it as do KB’s —so as You run into them please come here and let us know!!!
I mean KB’s chef understands important little techniques as cleaning Your meat, And probably in lemon/lime and/or vinegar or other such citrus based marinade solutions— Why do I say this—You can taste the difference in their meat 🥩, on top of their specific marinade flavor profile! Whatever their using. Might be a pesto based typed marinade who knows!! All I know is You guys and gals gotta report there! 😋 go ahead and check ‘em out.
