Please guys update the restaurant a little bit, it needs some tlc, besides that everything is good. I remember Marckys used to be the best Haitian restaurant in town. I move back to Hillside, you will definitely see me more.

You need a 1HOUR and a Half From the time of order maybe 2 to 3. It's that bad I swear.

I am not Haitian but I'm pregnant and have random cravings. I like some Haitian foods, I just have no idea what a lot of the foods are called. I just wanted rice and beans, so I showed them a picture of what I wanted that's posted on their site. The first lady seemed to have an attitude with me because I didn't know what the food was called and couldn't speak Creole. Rolled her eyes like she couldn't be bothered with me. The second lady was a tiny bit nicer but she laughed at me in a condescending way. The black rice that's up on their page, they said they don't have that and looked at me like I was crazy. So I got a large order of brown rice and beans. The rice was really good. I loved it and it was hot. Enough for my partner and I to share for only $8. They just had a very unwelcoming attitude.
