I order through a delivery platform so I can not speak on customer service. What I can speak on is the food quality and presentation. Firstly, they're very cheap in price as far as other Chinese food stores in a similar area. However, you get what you pay for. Wings and rice the chicken was okay a bit lack luster and the rice was very bland. Nothing to write Yelp about. I ordered honey wings and fried dumplings as well. The honey wings were a tinge salty but still really good and way better then the regular fried wings. The fried dumplings were actually really good. Almost caramelized. Outer wrap not overly thick, more on the authentic side which has me wondering if the food would be much better for ordering authentic Chinese food vs standard American fare. I will give them another shot and re rate them if I'm impressed since the majority of their reviews are old and may be outdated.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. No idea how it has a high rating on Seamless. Garlic chicken has no garlic sauce (just very overcooked slivers of chicken), pork fried rice has no pork (just dry yellow rice), egg roll is just cabbage inside, and lo mein is very dry. Good day to be a dog because that's who's getting the rice and lo mein.

Ive been noticing the last few times that I’ve been there that it’s only one person in the restaurant I think he’s trying to cook, take calls, and do everything else and the food is starting to suffer. I noticed a lot of trash on the floor in the kitchen and the food didn’t taste fresh. I ordered shrimp eggegg foo yong, and gravy wasn’t good had a sour taste. The shrimp roll wasn’t fresh either.

Poor Chinese food. I ordered hot and sour soup. It taste ok but it had egg in it. I ordered chicken fried rice. The rice was blonde and had only dark meat chicken in it. Not even onions. Never again.
I regularly order delivery from this Chinese food place because, even though their delivery time is longer, their food tastes fresher and they honor my modifications due to diet restrictions. However, today, there appeared to be an issue with the delivery driver because he was later than the delivery time by about 20 minutes (now taking my wait time to an hour and a half).Frustrated, I asked why he was late (and mentioned that I pre-tipped well over the 20%). He began walking back to his car with my food and mentioned I could just cancel. I then had to follow him to his car in order to get my food from him. When I tried to call the store to complain, a man hung up on me. I had to call back a couple more times in order to get through and the man I spoke to seemed nonplussed and apathetic as if nothing would change by me speaking my mind (which brought me here to Yelp). This store, like many other Asian-owned properties in Black communities, takes our patronage for granted (as if we don't have other choices/options). I cannot continue to order from a place that does not value the voices of the people in the community they serve. News Golden Chopstick does not seem to care about the community that keeps them in business.

This place is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but here I go the most. The stuff is very receptive and the cooking they place on your table is so good. I never decline to have a good meal in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
