The best Jerk Chicken in New Jersey. Not oven jerk chicken. The jerk lamb is out of this world. You will keep coming back over and over again once you try it. Everything is made to order sometimes the wait time is long but it’s worth it 👏🏾🙌🏾
We ordered takeout and tried the jerk chicken with rice and peas, and the jerk oxtails with rice and peas. The jerk oxtails were okay, nothing too special, but the overall flavors were solid. The rice was a bit on the dry side especially with the jerk chicken and the small portion of jerk sauce didn’t help much. But the smoky jerk chicken flavor was amazing, easily one of the best I’ve had! I’ll definitely be back to try more jerk items on the menu.
This was a little spot in tye neighborhood, that wasn't the big fancy restaurant, but, it made me imagine myself in Jamaica on the roadside. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. All the flavors were there. I ordered the Jerk chicken with the rasta pasta, cabbage and sweet plantain. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture for you, that's how fast a dove into it when I got home. Definitely will ve going back 😋
