I liked this west Indian restaurant. The food had a lot of flavor. Jerk, curry and stewed chicken was awesome. Try the pumpkin and you'll be pleasantly surprised and the prices were fare.??

The rice has an old expired smell to it and the chicken was cold. I immediately called them to let them know.. doesn’t matter if it’s in a less privileged area.. they shouldn’t be taking peoples money and serving garbage

The meat was salty and the chowmein was swimming in oil. Their tamarind drink was good but the mauby was watery. I would like to support them but i care for my health.Vegetarian options: The there was not many options

Smiley is on a busy street and there is always a police sitting there 24/7. I ordered curry chicken with rice and peas..small. portions was good but the curry is way too salty. Rice and peas was good. Unfortunately, I ate like 2 bites and couldn't finish it because it is way too salty for my palate. Didn't buy anything else. My husband said he bought food there before today and it was also salty.

Food is trash. Ordered rice, Mac and cheese and j*** chicken. Each item was gross and the lady only gave me one chicken leg. Yes, one MF chicken leg for $15. Avoid. There’s too many other Caribbean restaurants in Irvington to eat at than that place.
