Recently dined in after reading all the reviews. Having an unlimited thali option for dinner is very nice. However the experience is not as expected. First of all, the service is not great. They can improve their service a lot. It takes some time to get a table. There are three thali options- Punjabi, Khatiyawadi and Gujarati. They could not exactly bring those authentic flavors. Curries lacked soul somewhat. Chapati and paratha are good. Their kadai paneer and daal are great....
As someone from a different culture, it was a little intimidating looking at the menu.
However, give this place a chance
Delicious samosa chaat (chick pea stuffed samosa).

No wonder why no other kathyawadi restaurant can beat kathyawadi kitchen in Sayreville. All the employees were wearing horribly dirty cloths, cleanliness was a rare quality in the restaurant and in bathroom. And employees were just hanging out and straight up ignoring customers instead of providing an excellent service.
