I can't believe it took me this long to review Rasoi Restaurant. This famous restaurant has been a local favorite for over a decade, and for good reason. Perfectly situated on Oak Tree Road, it's a convenient and popular spot, especially when the buffet is on.
The service is always top-notch, and the bar offers a decent selection of drinks. The buffet is a real highlight. The starters, like the samosa chaat, chicken 65, and pakoras, are always a crowd-pleaser, offering a perfect blend of flavors and spice. The main courses, particularly the non-vegetarian options, are consistently delicious. While the biryani is decent, the naan and curries truly shine. The vegetarian dishes are solid, but the non-vegetarian offerings are where Rasoi needs to improve- halal is not in the buffet - but offered form menu.
To round off the meal, the carrot halva and tea are the perfect sweet and comforting finish. Considering the quality and quantity of food, the pricing is quite reasonable. If you're in Central NJ, Rasoi's buffet is a must-try

Everything looks fine except one waiter (a bit aged) who shows unnecessary attitude and not minding his business, so basically rude which can be damaging for hospitality experience.

Tonight l ate with the family. As always among all the restaurant on Oak Tree Rd. I highly recommend Rasoi for their wonderful food and ambiance atmosphere. Great pricing and great food. Please take the time and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Had the buffet and really enjoyed it. No rudeness among the patrons. Not all the food was to my liking but lots of it was delicious and a selection too huge for me to be able to try everything. So I will go back just to try some new things. Lots of families having a nice brunch. We sat forever, just talking, almost all the guests had left but they didn't push us out. They just kept setting up all the other tables around us. Thank u for your patience.

Service was terrible. They rushed me and my two non indian friends (who were every excited to try indian food for the first time). They didn't get the orders right and when we tried telling them, they caught an attitude and said we were wrong. Brought us our check before all the food even came out. This was terrible. Experiencing racism from Indians when you yourself is and indian is amazing. They stared at us all night as if they didn't want us to be there. Every uncomfortable. Smh

Good experience , tasty food. We ordered paneer tikka sizzlers, malai kofta, laccha prantha & tandoori roti. Paneer tikka sizzlers was different than we expected. So not going to order again. But malai kofta & rotis were excellent. Really good. Definitely order these again. Staff was good. Restaurant seems clean.

Paneer tikka sizzlers was different than we expected. So not going to order again. But malai kofta & rotis were excellent. Really good. Definitely order these again.
