Brooklyn Square Pizza

listen i’m a big fan of this pizza joint, one of my favorite and only sesame seed crust pizza’s i’ve ever had, my mom loves the square upsidown pie, my family and i are huge fans of the food itself, however the delivery is very shotty, we ordered our food about 2 hours ago and it still has yet to arrive. We are very upset and hungry. Will likely order from here again but definitely not deliver. Sad friday night.

Waited over an hour for a classic grandma pizza. First time there and was curious about the hype. Owner was personable and humorous under a mobbed Friday in Lent. The pizza (Peter's Special) was ok but not worth the wait. They need more ovens to handle the volume. Prefer round thin crust.

ordered a grilled chicken caesar wrap with black olives no cheese.last week get home there is cheese and green olives. I call them to let them know and was told I can come back and they will give me a side of black olives, I said I can't come back and was told that's all they can do. I order from there all the time and didnt recognize anyone working that night, so unfortunately the wrap went to waste.

We went to this place as I saw a great review for pizza. Having had pizza the day before, we decided to split one slice and ordered a California cheese steak. The pizza was good. It was the worst cheese steak I've ever had. Tasteless pieces of what looked like Steak Um. UGH.

The upside down was great except it was really salty. That was disappointing.

To your response: I use pecorino romano frequently. No problems with the cheese. It tasted like the ocean. SMH@SMH.

In the area for a dance competition and this was a must stop. We were here a year ago and had to return! This upside down square pie is delicious! The sauce is something really special!! It’s a good thing, for my purse, that we live two plus hours away!

Good pizza but the fact the owner didn’t say anything as I was leaving & walked by him when I said something to him, I was just trying to be polite it pretty much gave me the bad vibes if I’m being honest.

Idk what happened. We used to order from here 5-6 times a month. Over the past year it’s gone completely downhill. It’s so bad. We asked for it well done because it’s been undercooked lately, and it came extra raw with the cheese melted into the box. So nasty 🤢 the owner thinks he does no wrong and has a nasty attitude. I’m confused because who likes underdone pizza? I gotta find a new place now because never again.

The spinach artichoke pizza, use to be the bomb. Brought two slices this evening, very disappointed. The person who put them on the map is gone!!!! It’s been 3 years and it have advanced from bad to worse. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Just average. Had upside down vodka slice. Was dry and lacking sauce. Krispy Pizza in Freehold is much better in my opinion.

Went last night around 8pm and pizza was far from fresh. Still decided to get 4 slices since i’ve heard such good things about brooklyn square. Counter lady couldn’t be bothered, no greeting. Counter boy ignored our request for plates twice. Pizza was not good. Do not bother coming here!!

Food took 2 hours to arrive and it was cold. Restaurant did nothing about it.

10/10 would eat there again

Great food. However, they keep the front door open so therefore you eat dinner swatting flies away

4.25 per slice, the upside down pizza was DELICIOUS! very flavorful and great dough! Highly recommend!
