I try to give this place the benefit of the doubt my roommate warners from here so it's easier for me to say grab me two slices.. the problem is they're always one molecule away from plastic hard as a rock no flavor crunchy and I'm only getting plain the prices go up in the quality goes down I just don't understand how you can mess up two slices of plain pizza constantly.

I have been ordering from them for a year or more. I have ordered entrees. Vodka penne with vodka sauce and chicken, either francese or Marsala. All good! I have also ordered shrimp scampi. Up until a week ago, 6 shrimp came with the scampi until today. Only 5! Spoke with the manager and was told it was ALWAYS 5! Guess I can’t count! Shame on me! I will think LONG and HARD next time!

1st Timers the other night to Mangia Brick Oven Pizza in Jackson, NJ. I ordered a half sausage & half pepperoni pizza, my wife had a chicken parm dinner, and my Mother In Law went with the Eggplant Rollatini. We started off with Boli Knots for an appetizer. I thought they were very good, but my wife & Mother In Law were turned off by the copious amount of garlic. O well, I ended up having five out of the six knots ;). Marinara sauce that came with the knots was spot on, we all enjoyed it. My Mother In Law did LOVE her Eggplant Rollatini (and she also had a slice of pepperoni pizza, she really liked that too). My wife was happy with her chicken parm, and I felt the pizza was decent. NY style. Friendly & attentive service, a nice dining area also. All in all, a pretty solid experience at Mangia Brick Oven Pizza this past weekend. We are planning to come back, they have an outdoor dining area that allows dogs (a BIG plus for us, since we hate to leave the pooch home), and they are close enough to my Mother In Law's place to grab some takeout anytime. Will write an update whenever that happens.

We had a party of 6 for lunch and we brought our own wine. The food was delicious and fresh. I had more than enough for 2 more meals. The crusty bread was also very fresh and warm.Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Everything was good i didnt take pics of all. The only tiny little thing in my opinion was the chicken franchaise chicken itself needed a tiny bit more flavor but it was still good and i took some home as well. Catered party at the place service was amazing very sweet people. Will go

The pizza was delicious & cheese cake was good. Their mozzarella sticks were ok, however the sauce for mozzarella sticks was amazing.

We enjoyed the food very much on our first visit to Mangia in Jackson, NJ. We were there with our grandchildren, 2 & 3, who were very well behaved. The hostess seemed distressed that they were there. Maybe not a kid friendly place. The waitress, on the other hand, was very kind and gave the kids buckets of crayons and coloring books. It's a pizzeria restaurant, nothing fancy that would warrant stares. Very uncomfortable atmosphere.

I recently ordered chicken wings for delivery and was disappointed to find a piece of hair in them. It was a very unpleasant and unappetizing experience. I immediately called to voice my concerns and was met with an apology and a $20 credit. However, my disappointment continued when I ordered the wings again several weeks later and found another piece of hair. At that point, I didn't even bother to complain because I have lost all trust in this establishment. It's clear that they need to implement proper hygiene measures, such as hair nets, to prevent this from happening again. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again. In response to this post.. As a repeat customer of Mangia’s, my intention was simply to share my experience. Unfortunately, this is the second occurrence & felt the need to bring this to your attention in (hopes) of raising awareness. Unless Mangia is serving some hybrid version of chicken (lol)… I can only assume that the average consumer would be able to distinguish the difference between human hair, chicken skin & or hair…. Moving forward, we can only wish to see more accountability on Mangia’s end, rather than viewing our feedback as a (personal attack) on this establishment. Which I emphasize (IS NOT) the intention here… As someone who has also faced (financial struggles), it is disappointing to spend money on food that cannot be consumed. I sincerely wish Mangia future success & hope this will be taken into consideration… Thank you and have a pleasant week.
