There was a fair number of tables occupied for lunch. Our food was good, cole slaw was lacking taste. Negatives- no substitutions with some meals, paper straws, both our sandwiches were toasted. I ordered my meal off the COLD sandwich menu and it came to me toasted, and our server never came over to see if our meals were ok. Only came to bring our bill.

This place is a gem! The food was excellent and fresh and hot. Service was friendly and fast. We had a burger that was classic and the meat delicious, hardly needed condiments. We had a chicken and vegetable panini that was the perfect blend of healthy and indulgent. And it’s very near our mom’s assisted living facility so we will definitely return.

Very nice place to eat, my girlfriend and I love it here. Their breakfast entries are delicious and feed both of us with only 1, love the pancakes and their specialty French toasts. Servers are very friendly, tables are clean, food is wonderful, what else could you ask for? We would choose Sunrise over Mug Rack and the Jackson Diner any day!

Kid-friendliness: Yes...Sunrise diner is a kid friendly place as my Intelligence Main Utility group of children enjoyed coloring comic pages to pass by time. The food was delicious and precise and I was proud to have eaten here after our skating trip.

Food was fine…when it finally came out. We waited for close to an hour for our food. And what was worse was it wasn’t overly busy and we were watching people who came in after us get their food before us. On two occasions, we actually saw people who came in after us not just get their food but eat, pay, and leave before our food ever came out. The server was no where to be found to refill coffees or check if anyone else at the table needed drink refills until I had to yell it out. Then when the food did come out, they brought one entree and a side out, and it took about another 5 minutes for the rest to come out. I’m not usually the kind of person who hides behind a keyboard to complain and write reviews like this. But this was so frustrating and I just had to get it off my chest.
I asked for two eggs with scrapple. Food came no scrapple so I told the polite waitress I wanted scrapple also. She took my breakfast back and brought me two scrambled eggs still no scrapple . Positive note the food was good

This place has yummy classic diner food! They serve big portions of breakfast sandwiches that can be customized just the way you like them. One cool thing is that they use fresh, healthy ingredients without any preservatives, which makes the food taste even better. The dining area is nice and cozy, and the staff are super friendly and always ready to help. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends!

My family of 4 went for breakfast. Our ticket of food was lost in the kitchen, the eggs were tasteless even after trying to season it, the potatoes were soft and no taste either. We would not go back unfortunately 😥 Our stomaches hurt!
