Place was busy, mozzarella sticks came out still frozen in the center. Waitress was more worried about figuring out her tickets then checking on her tables. Finally able to get her attention and she brought them back to the kitchen. When they came back to the table, there was a stick missing and they clearly cut into the mozzarella sticks to make sure they were cooked this time. Woman from behind the register asked if everything was OK and I explained the situation. She took them off the bill. I ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy, the wife ordered poached eggs. The meals were actually pretty good. Would've been 4 stars if the sticks were cooked and not missing or cut into. Waitress needs to pay attention to her tables.

I love old school style family-owned restaurants. Especially when I'm visiting family in New Jersey. We don't have very many of these in Florida, hardly any at all. This is a place that my wife used to go to when she was in High School. It has a great family dining atmosphere and excellent food.

We have been going to the mug rack for years. Today a Sunday we went for breakfast it was crowded. We walked in and saw an empty booth. My husband asked a waitress if we could sit there she said yes. There was no one else ahead of us or waiting. Now I am disabled and use a walker and my husband is a Vietnam vet. A lady came over and tossed the menus on the table and asked what we wanted to drink. She came back and took our orders. Stating that on the weekends you have to check in. You can’t just seat yourself. And that we were lucky?!? As she was tapping the menus in the table. Obviously we haven’t been there on the weekends. Just week days. As I watched her be happy and polite to other customers I realized it was just us she had a problem with. My husband told her about the waitress telling us we could sit and she said they was her job. Anyway under our circumstances I thought she would have been more respectful. After years of going there we will not be going again.

Cozy breakfast spot! Food was delicious and the omelettes were packed with food without being “too much”.
