We went Sunday afternoon as a group of 10. We ordered 9 different entrées and they were all great. My husband loved the steak fajitas and the steak with chimichurri sauce was a hit!! The food was fresh and not overly salty. Our servers were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Three at our table. 2 shrimp dishes, 1 steak dish. Food was all seriously overcooked. Steak and shrimp were very tough. 20% tip was automatically added to our bill. That was a first (and last) for me.

This place deserves a lot more love. Food is fantastic. Good service too. Loved it.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu. Not a lot of options, but was good enough to take our kids.

Only giving 4 stars because 5 stars is reserved for super excellence. Saying this Alegria was good. We had 8 persons and in Sunday afternoon was not an issue. We all had a different dish, I had the Caldo de Mariscos (seafood soup) and it was good. There were 4 or 5 margaritas ordered and were so so. Nachos were ok and the quesadillas were ok too. Our service was adequate as there was only one working. All in all I'll say it served the purpose for Mexican however it's not TexMex.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. We stopped by for a last-minute celebration and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered chicken fajitas, which came out outstanding. Some folks who like spicy food requested their order to be spicy, and boy it was super kicked up spicy. Their green bottle chille habanero was extremely spicy and flavorful at the same time. Will visit again!!

I called this restaurant today, Monday February 19th. A lady who barely spoke English picked up the phone and said "Hello?" I replied "Hi, is this Alegria the restaurant" and she said "Yes". I then said "Hello, I was calling to see if your restaurant sells alcohol". She then said "Hold on a minute" and put the phone down. I heard her talking to a man in the background for literally two full minutes, but she never came back to the phone! I finally hung up and tried calling back several times over the next 10 minutes, but the call went directly to a Verizon voicemail box (which means the phone was off the hook because she never came back to it). What the heck, man! I am not driving 25 minutes to give this place a chance if they answer the phone unprofessionally, can't speak English, can't answer a simple question and does not have the decency to even come back to the phone! Next.

Really enjoyed my meal. Started with the guacamole and queso fundido. Had the Churrasco for my main meal. All fresh and flavorful. Margaritas were delicious as well!

Tried the Cochinita Pibil which is a slow cooked pork dish. As a lover of pulled pork, this is an excellent dish, prepared with care with great flavor and served with fresh sliced avocado, black beans and rice. The black beans were a nice change from refried beans often served by others. Service was good with happy workers although a little slow considering the restaurant was not packed, plenty of staff, just a bit disorganized. The decor was typical of a Mexican restaurant, and very clean.

VERY good food. But they need to extend their lunch specials to weekends as well
