At first the server was excellent. The order came out just how I asked him. The food was very good. French fries were not frozen. Gave a large portion. My chicken was excellent. After the food was served we didn't see the server again until we asked for the check. I would go back. Prices were reasonable for their portions.

I have pick up today through Uber eats delivery, but staff is so irresponsible about your work. They don’t pay attention towards their customers .They all were talking each other .They wasted my time .So bad experience.

Don Pepe has been in my bookmarks for years and I finally got the chance to dine here and it did not disappoint. The decor when you walk in is dark with beautiful bright Peruvian paintings. It really shows off the artwork. We were seated by a bartender and I chose the Passionfruit sangria. It was a pretty drink and had the sweet sour passionfruit flavor. I enjoyed every sip. For our app we had the papa rellena. Great app to share. Mashed potato filled with a stewed beef. We both got salads with the lunch special. Nice fresh green salad. For my entree I had the pork chop. It came with a side of rice and French fries. I would say one of the starches should be swapped for a veggie. Everything was delicious but I felt super full right away. I am adding it to my short list for work lunches. Looking forward to going back.

Service is slow as molasses, 15 mins before I get menu, 15 mins wait for ordering then another 20 mins wait for food, food is 3 out of 5, once in a lifetime is more than enough.

The service was terrible, the appetizer my boyfriend ordered was ceviched shells, it was more onion than anything and the onion was strong. I'm not coming back, I'll have a bad

This place is soooo good! I remember when it used to be next to the Dunkin but now it moved to its own standalone building. Their pictures are from the old days, but you gotta come out to see what its like! Their food is delicious, I usually get the lomo saltado with a mango milk shake. The staff are super friendly. Keep up the great work!

The food is very good. My friend had shrimp and he said it was the best shrimp dish he'd ever had. My husband had the lobster paella, it was excellent. Everything else was really high quality too.The one thing that was really bad was the ribeye. It was fatty and there was a lot of connective tissue, it was very hard to eat. The mashed potatoes that came with it were some of the best I've ever had. The vegetables were cooked very well. Not overcooked like mosy places do.The portions are really large. For two or three people don't get an appetizer. You will have enough to eat. We have been there twice, the first time had great service the second time it was really slow. The decor is very nice but not overly fancy. The servers have been very nice even the time they were slow. They did not rush us on either occasion. The menu is probably the biggest menu I've ever seen.We will go back but the next time I'm ordering chicken.

If you are Hispanic or you are at work and want to go there for lunch that's not your place . They just want to see people with clean clothes or not Hispanic ones. Very bad service , they can be looking at you that you are needing something and they just keep looking at you, then they just disappear.I've been on alot of restaurants from different countries and I see the difference of service with the costumers. Food is good don't get me wrong but the service is not good . Not recommend . Maybe I go back to don pepe whenever they have better service .

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. The service was one of the worst experiences ever. 40 minutes just to get our drinks and out of the 16 tables there only 5 tables were being used. What will they do if all tables fill up?

Want Peruvian Food? Lima Latin in Sayreville, NJ is a much better option. Had dinner at this new location, Service was horrible and food was not good. I must say that service at the old location was better. There was no sense of urgency and several tables were upset due to the lack of attention. At one point the table next to us had finished eating and they brought out a side of sweet plaintains as they were ready to pay. The lady told the waitress "We already ate why would you bring the side as we are ready to pay"

Came here with my family and was highly disappointed. Service was horrible, our waitress barely helped us. We would ask for something and she would take forever, she would talk to people and be on her phone. My mother in law asked for the pork chops and the waitress convinced her they were dry and suggested the special and said it was good and when it arrives it's greasy and all fat. The waitress never came to ask how our meal was. The only one that was attentive was the bus boy, he was so helpful and brought the things we asked for. We asked for a manager and I know who came to the table wasn't a manager but probably another waitress or staff member who barely spoke English. We were really disappointed and the money wasn't worth it. We will never come back.
