My son brought me here for Mothers day and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! The service was excellent, the linens clean and food was delicious. We ordered the salmon and cod entrées which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely return to sample other items from the menu!
We had such an awesome meal here. Brian went above and beyond to accommodate us when he certainly didn’t have to. The food was fresh and delicious, and we were very lucky to have gone during fiddlehead season. Several items on the menu included the neat little edible fern. The best part of the meal had to be the key lime pie, which Brian told us he makes himself. I also recommend their peach lemonade—so refreshing! Overall, it was such a unique and delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. My only complaint is how far away from my house it is!
At here during Covid and always meant to leave a review. We enjoyed a meal on the porch of the local law office. It was nice to still be able to dine out during that time. My soup was excellent as well as my sandwich. Looking forward to revisiting some time soon.
Our second visit here and the entrees were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We had a couple of hiccups on the appetizers, but the manager took care of the situation. Looking forward to returning again! By the way, the bread course was excellent, and very pleasant service as always.
I was in NJ for work and happened upon this gem of a restaurant. I came in during their takeout shutdown period (12 to 4 weekday) the staff was gracious enough to seat me regardless. Not only was the food beyond delicious and satisfactory the gentleman that served me I could not say enough kind words about. I had zucchini cakes, 2 glasses of house made lemonade and the black peppered tuna. Everything was unique and prepared wonderfully. This is an restaurant I would love to visit again. Until my next business trip to NJ, I will eagerly be thinking about the yummy food I experienced.
I called earlier in the week to make a reservation for Sunday at 1pm and was informed that the restaurant doesn’t typically open until later in the day But Brian stated the he would be there for take out orders and could easily accommodate us in the restaurant at 1pm.His hospitality was amazing. He made us feel like family. We even got hugs when we left. The food was delicious and the menu has plenty of nice surprises… all with a flavorful flair. My bison burger with a caramelized onion aioli was a great follow up to the Smokey tomato bisque soup.A trip to Fiddelheads is a treat for your pallet and the staff will go out of their way to create a great dining experience for you.
Took my partner here for a nice St. Patrick’s day dinner. We had the salmon and jambalaya, and the chocolate love torte, and everything was amazing! We loved the New Jersey art and photos decorating the walls, and Brian and all the staff are friendly and accommodating. Would love to return
Small plates are just enough... dinner portions are generous, great prices!
We have always loved the food, staff and the service is impeccable. We just recently went for my birthday and had the most amazing tortellini in a mushroom sage sauce and they were kind enough to leave out the onions at my request. I also have to mention that the pecan pie was beyond delicious. Definitely a great choice for your romantic date or any occasion.
What a wonderful meal my friends and I had at Fiddleheads restaurant yesterday! The ambiance is so welcoming and cozy. And the food is absolutely delicious. We started with soup - I had the French onion and one of my friends has the tomatoe bisque. Both were delicious! Main course was the crab sandwich. And can’t go wrong with the chocolate love torte for dessert - delicious! Highly recommend.

I love this place!!! It doesn't have to be a special occasion to dine here because going to Fiddleheads Bistro makes any day a special occasion. The smoked tomato soup (menu staple) never disappoints. I had the Orange braised Salmon and my husband had the Chicken Lyonnaise. both were outstanding. The salmon was moist and flaky with a concentrated orange glaze. The key lime pie was sweet and tart, with mounds of whipped cream. The perfect finale to a great meal. Cozy atmosphere and Brian always makes you feel so welcome. Highly recommend for dinner. Make a reservation because it fills up for dinner on the week ends.
First time at Fiddleheads tonight, was amazing! Mussels, shrimp, tuna, and dessert. A perfect spot for a special occasion.
Fiddleheads is a wonderful restaurant with a charming atmosphere and terrific food. We started with the fantastic French Onion Soup and then had the Jambalaya and the Chicken Lyonnaise. Everything was great! There is a warning about the "heat level" of the Jambalaya, and it was accurate. The dish is hot, but for anyone who enjoys a degree of heat (as I do), it was perfectly seasoned. The chicken was in a superb sauce and was perfectly cooked. The accompanying vegetables for both dishes were al dente and as fresh as can be. We were served a couple of baskets of nice crunchy rolls and flatbreads with a delicious, spiced hummus. The restaurant is a BYOB, and the servers are very accommodating about providing glasses and ice (if needed). Prices are very reasonable by today's standards. The owner and manager of the restaurant, Brian Blatz, is a delightful man with a great knowledge of food and the food industry. Be sure to say hello to him! My only regret is that we don't live closer. Otherwise, we would be there regularly!
Came here for dinner while on a brief overnight trip and couldn't have been more pleased. Quaint place with nice décor. Service was excellent. The rolls, flatbread and hummus were great. My wife enjoyed the Angus burger and I thought the pork medallions with sizzling garlic was excellent.
This was my first time dining here, and I will be back! Service was great and everything was wonderful. The appetizer selection is great, I wanted to try them all! We especially liked the cheese plate and empanada. I had the Chicken Lyonnaise and it did not disappoint. Dessert was very good as well!! I would recommend reservations, even on a week night, and the restaurant is BYOB.
