Love this place we've been coming here for many years! The staff is always friendly and helpful, on weekends in the morning it may be crowded but it's worth the wait! We come before church or after and love the desserts they have!! We always highly recommend them if you're in town! ?????

Been coming here for years. It’s a great bakery. But since the management changed in 2016, the quality and service has been steadily declining.

I will not be ordering anything else from this establishment I was charged $77.50 for a quarter sheet cake! The cake was dry and the fresh fruit I ordered at an EXTRA cost was hard.. I’ve been ordering cakes from here for the past 25 years and have never had one so expensive and so bad at the same time!

i purchased a cake for visiting family and it was stale and didn't have any flavor. i thought it was a on-off occassion and tried again. NOPE. Different type of cake, but dry and tasteless. Cupcake icing tastes like plastic and the cake is dry. Don't get me started about the cookies that decinerate into crumbs when you take your first bite. This is NOT the Mendoker's from years gone by. Mr. Robert Mendoker would not be happy with what is being sold today from the place his dad started.

I know since Mendoker changed ownership people are still comparing it to its previous existence. Let us give this owner a break, please. As we know things change but the taste and quality of this bakery are still there. I never had a bad experience. Just the other day I went in for the Paczki, while not as filled as previously they were still good. Every baker has their spin on how they bake or present their goodies. The inside is remodeled as a cafe and it is very inviting. The refrigerator is filled with good food and they have soups to take out. Breakfast is there with rolls, bagles, coffee etc. and of course all the pastry you can buy. Shelly is the early worker and while a this point she is looking forward to retirement Shelly keeps showing up early for work. Shelly knows her customers by name and is very helpful even with complicated orders like mine (always complicated). So, give this fine bakery a chance, new owners always bring their ideas into a bought establishment, and now acccept the present. Have a complaint bring it up, the owners will be just so happy to accomodate you. Instead of complaining on this board speak to the owner or Shelly first. So come and enjoy your carb treats and homemade cooking with their soups, cooked items etc. Bye the way the sandwiches are real good, I enjoy the liverwurst hmmm good. Happy munching!

We ordered a half dozen Paczki donuts before Fat Tuesday. The fruit were completely filled but the custard were on filled on top rather than the center. Hopefully the quality can improve so we can come back.

Very unassuming from the outside. Great selection of pastries/cookies/cakes. Got assorted cookies and a cherry cheese "ring" cake. All very good and eaten very quickly.
