Waited 30 minutes for cold food. No one said sorry. They did take some off the bill but that's not the point.

I'm happy to go to a place where you are always greeted with a smile from time you order to When You leave. As always food and service is excellent... The prices are very reasonable....

We were working around the house and didn't feel like cooking so we decided to go out, but not far and we decided to go to The Diner" here in town. I have never been a fan of this place and they kept their status tonight. How this place made it in the top 10 diners in NJ on 101.5 is beyond my comprehension; are there only 10 diners left on NJ and they made the list by default? I ordered the "Bunny's Panini". The picture with paninis shows a roll but mine came out on grilled pita bread, this is not a panini. The chicken in my alleged panini was wet and flavorless. When I say wet I mean it was like they heated the pre grilled chicken in water making it taste like flavorless mushy chicken. There was nothing satisfying about the sandwich but the fries were hot and crispy. The pickle was disappointing because it wasn't a true pickle but a cucumber wedge brined in water. The minuscule portion of coleslaw was dry and vinegary. My wife had the Corned Beef Ruben which said was good but she'll never complain so I take her description at face value. Everyone was very nice and pleasant but unfortunately it was near closing time and staff was more concerned about cleaning up and doing prep to come by the table to check on us. Eventually as our waitress reappeared from the back we finally got refills on our drinks. We would have left sooner so they could clean up and get out but had to wait for our check. Everything I've ever eaten here has been bland, flavorless and cooked to satisfy the people in the surrounding retirement villages but salt and pepper won't kill anyone. Add it to the food to give or bring out flavor. If you ask why I go here if I don't like it; it's because the people I'm with choose here and I go with the flow but it's never my choice.

Went to this little quaint diner in downtown Jamesburg as we happened to be in the area again. For a small town it has many dining options with a variety of cuisines. However, we decided on something with a comfort food feel. We chose the diner which has a pretty good selection of dinners including a senior citizen menu as well as some specials. We ordered the chicken cordon bleu along with the homemade fried chicken. Both dinners included soup, we had chicken noodle and New England clam chowder. Both soups were flavorful especially the clam chowder, it was delicious. The fried chicken was crispy but lacked any distinct seasoning, it was just basic fried chicken. It was ok, just not a signature type dish. The chicken cordon bleu was a whole different story, it was extremely salty, so much so only a quarter of the dish, if even that much, was eaten. Needless to mention, but we didn’t take any leftovers home. With each dinner a choice of vegetable is offered, we never did get the string beans even after reminding the waitress twice. The zucchini was cooked and seasoned very well and the mashed potatoes, well, were mashed potatoes. Overall a very disappointing experience, at least for dinner. Would I go back, probably not.

Decent breakfast at a decent price. Owner very friendly. Waitress behind counter gave a very poor service with a bad attitude. In the restaurant business you must treat all your customers like they were the last ones you have. Being busy does not mean you have to be rude to your customers.

I had a good breakfast at a decent price at this establishment. The owners were very cordial and pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the service provided by the waitress behind the bar. She had a rude attitude and offered all-around bad service. To make matters worse, she delivered the bill without offering a refill of coffee. While I understand that the restaurant may have been busy, it is important to treat customers respectfully and provide good service. Despite this, I enjoyed the breakfast itself, so I am willing to give them another chance in the future.

Love the food, the service, and the place. Cute little town area. We did the walk for Out of the Darkness for Suicide Prevention. This place was recommended, and the best place it was. ? ❤️✨️
