We were one of two tables. Server never came by to ask for additional drinks. The bread was old. The one drink I got tasted like water. The appetizers was decent but very fatty so little to actually eat. Lettuce in salad was old. Will not be returning.

What a beautiful restaurant. Came with a party of 8, no reservation, Saturday night at peak dining time. Although the restaurant was full they were able to accommodate us in less then 20 minutes. The bartender was busy, but took the time to share some of his favorite menu choices. He went over the evening specials with us and got us some snacks to hold us over until we were seated. Our table cozy and we could all hear each other talk, even though the restaurant was full. Our server was professional, the food was delicious and the owner John was attentive and spent time talking with all his guests. We were going to skip dessert, but the evening was seamless that we stayed for coffee and desserts. Well worth a stop!

I admire this restaurant! They offer awesome food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is a professional, I love very much trying all their food. The food is always good, the attitude towards the guests is good. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

I got turned on to Jamesburg food at Fiddleheads, another good eating place close by, but after my first experience of The Vine I'll happy to add it to the list of favored spots. Our birthday party of four enjoyed an early evening meal that featured braised short ribs, pan seared cod, red quinoa salad with added shrimp and a romaine/chicken salad, washed down with Troegs wheat beer and house red wine and followed up by a selection of desserts. The bill before tip was $140 and worth every penny. The restaurant is a large open square room that houses 15 or so tables and a partially separate bar area. The decor is dominated by muted tone wood. Service is reasonably fast and on the ball. No major complaints and much to enjoy.

Garlic prawns have great flavor and shrimp was tender juices. I literally soak the sauce with bread. Arugula peach salad have great flavor. Our entrees was delicious and great flavors. Serve needs a little bit more training. But overall it was excellent, we satisfied with this restaurant
