I have never been an Applebees person but I went there with my granddaughter and found that the food menu is better than it used to be. I had the shrimp and sausage with penne pasta. SO GOOD… The drinks are still a bit “weak” but they were good tasting. The service was good too considering that our waiter had a whole section to work by himself. Overall, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I will be returning again.
Their service is bad and they still demand that I tip them and I also got a hair on one of my dishes. It seems wrong to me. I hope they improve their service.

The issue is the waiting time just to get either the drink, and the food . First we were for the server for like 20 minutes we almost walked out. Then it took a while for our food to come. The food was worth it but it was just taking so long

I visited the Kearney, New Jersey, Applebee’s, crystal Was my waitress. Her service was impeccable. Her timing was completely fast. We did not have to wait long at all. She always made sure we had refills and ask questions about what we wanted and gave suggestions. definitely will come back and visit Applebee’s car New Jersey for the amazing service.

I ordered the bourbon steak to-go. This is the absolute chewiest steak I've ever had. The utensils they provided BROKE trying to cut it! Even with an actual steak knife it took so much effort to make manageable pieces to eat, I'd hate to imagine if I had arthritis I wouldn't be able to cut this hunk of meat! The amount of chewing it takes to not choke on this meal is EXHAUSTING.

Sarah is one of the best servers i’ve ever been served by. Not only was she attentive but proactive already getting us refills without having to ask and keep our table clean from all the plates we ordered. The food.. amazing I got the prime rib dipper and man dipping the sandwich in that broth was like taking a bite out of heaven. I will most definitely be coming back and specifically asking for Sarah to be my server again. GIVE HER A RAISE!!!!!!
