This used to be such a classic Portuguese spot that you didn’t have to go to the Ironbound for. Been visiting lately since spending more time in the area and it’s a whole different experience. I have stood at the register for several minutes and had employees walk by me multiple times and not even acknowledge my presence. This has happened not just once but regularly. I think everything here is delicious and worth the price. My biggest issue is the fact that I always place bigger orders over the phone days before and when I arrive, my order is never ready or something is wrong or missing. I order for every big holiday and sometimes outside of holidays for just gatherings.
