This place has a special place in my heart and stomach from going here all these years as a kid and coming back home to have it again was simply incredible. I have been out of state for 9 years now and Argyle's is still the best fish and chips that I have had in the US. Their menu has tons of options and they keep it up well. I hope to visit them again before I head back to my new home outta state.
A solid eatery with a Celtic flair. First rate fish in the fish and chips, and very nice shepherds pie (bee, nae lamd, laddie). But is for the pipes and recitations that you come in January for the Burns supper.
If you enjoy a fish and chip dinner, and some really good clam chowder this is a good place to go. In addition to that there is a store attached to the restaurant that sells all kinds of bric-a-brac Irish and Scottish and that's always fun. Some things may be a little pricey but it's a good experience.
