First very rude staff, doesn't acknowledge you when you're waiting to order . There was also flies all over the food and when I told the girl behind the counter that she was rude and that I was going to complain, she said that she didn't care . I would avoid this place . Totally disgusting

All food fresh from the oven or the kitchen. Breads are meticulously made. Sweets remind me of childhood time. Service is ok, but they should be more attentive and pay attention to the orders (some orders to stay, some others to go). Parking is free, but limited to a few cars that come in first to take the marked spots.

$5.86 for a toast with bread and cheese that was just average? No thank you. The place is clean and about 6 workers there so I was attended to quickly. I just can not believe the prices at this place.

I come here to express my dissatisfaction with the last services that I had the displeasure of experiencing at the Bread of Life establishment in Kearny. I advise you to visit the other establishment located on Ferry Street in Newark New Jersey, and stay away from the Kearny establishment.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction during my visit to your restaurant. After being accommodated, I waited for more than 10 minutes without receiving any assistance. While I noticed that some orderlies were busy, others seemed indifferent and were distracted by their cell phones. This lack of attention is disappointing and does not reflect the level of service I expected from your establishment.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issue to improve the experience for future customers.

I tried to place a food order over the phone. When they asked me to provide my credit card number over the phone, I refused. They asked me to provide the number with the security code, and this has led to my credit card being used twice in fraudulent online purchases. Therefore, I refuse to provide my card over the phone to establishments. I was soon instructed by the attendant to visit the restaurant in person to pick up my order. Upon arrival, I was informed that my order was not available because it had been sold to other customers who had arrived after my order. This experience was frustrating and inconvenient, as I planned my visit based on the assumption that my order would be ready, and left my house instructed by the attendant to pick up my order. This establishment is located close to my house, but it will no longer be available for my visit. Including the tip, which is included even if it's just me and my wife, (2) people, when the tip law is only automatically included for more than 4 people. Still, I always added more, in addition to what they charged me in a not very honest way. Extremely unpleasant situation, not to mention that during the call I had visited the establishment two hours before and spent U$$130.40, and I also informed the attendant that I was there 2 hours ago. In addition to deceiving me and making me go to the establishment and not reserve just two soups. It's obvious that when I asked for the owner's contact number, they didn't want to give it to me. Claiming that I was dealing directly with the establishment's manager.
I hope you can improve your booking process and communication to avoid similar situations in the future with other customers.

I went there today and ordered a soup, a stewed beef, apparently perfect, but I couldn't eat it, the meat and cassava were tough, I wasn't going to say anything, but the girl asked how the soup was, I replied, the flavor is great but You can't eat the meat or the cassava, all that was left to do was cook it, and when the bill came they charged me almost 3 dollars for a can of sprite, I thought it was absurd, but I paid and left there disappointed today
