This place is so beautiful. I loved the food and service. I highly recommend it. This is my new favorite place in town. Update, the restaurant has a new kitchen staff. My new favorite dish is the steak with Veggies, and the burger is special too. I love the house salad and the banana bread pudding for dessert.

Denizen’s is a hidden gem. We went two times in one weekend….Friday night after my husband and I dropped our daughter off at soccer practice. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a delicious dinner. We had their Caesar salad (made with breadcrumbs- so good!) and chicken Milanese. We had the opportunity to talk to Nick the bartender and owner Sarah and absolutely adore them.
We loved it so much we went back on Sunday with our soccer family…Denizen’s hit it out of the park. Incredible brunch with awesome reasonably priced drinks. Everyone had a different entree and every dish was absolutely outstanding.
We highly recommend this place and only wish Denizens could come to hoboken!

I went to denizens tonight for dinner. I ordered the fish and chips. They were very good. For dessert I had the banana bread . My only complaint about the banana bread was that it was to big of a piece for me. The taste of it was outstanding .

Great spot for a night out ! We got the double cheeseburger with avocado and the rigatoni pasta with breaded chicken. The pasta was flavorful and the chicken was crispy and thin. It also had stracciatella and bacon bits that brought the dish all together. Sebastian was attentive and gave us great service during the entire dinner.

unfortunately, the drinks have been realllyyyy bad each time i’ve been, from cocktails to coffee. i’d stick to water next time. the bartender and owner/manager don’t have the best customer service skills but the waiters have been very nice both times i’ve been, if just a bit confused/slow! i’m assuming maybe the wait staff doesn’t have much experience in the food industry? i think maybe training the employees, espeically the bartender, a bit more will really help sell the experience.
if the food wasn’t so delicious i wouldn’t come back, because of how lacking the service/drinks are tbh!

My first time at Denizen’s was just for a quick drink while I was waiting for my dog to be groomed. Ended up being my favorite spot for different reasons. Their customer service, attention and friendly approach is impeccable . They are so nice, happy and they really make you feel so special. Sara and Nick are unique! The food is so good, tasty and fresh. Their cocktails are nice and balanced. It became my cozy, friendly spot for sure.

I hosted a lunch business meeting with my top referral source and I could not have picked a better place to do so! The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the price was very reasonable. Most importantly, my guest was very impressed and said he would definitely comeback another time.
We have been dropping in for casual dinner on a weeknight. We love their salads along with the drink and wine menu so we decided to try their Sunday brunch and loved it. $5 mimosas were great. The crab cakes were also delicious. The bartender/server is an absolute sweetheart! He’s always friendly and attentive and we never feel rushed. The vibe is bright and friendly and at the same time chic. Just what we needed in Kearny! Sunday was fun with a live musician. Parking can be tricky but there is a small public lot half a block away.
