I love hibachi but the hibachi price be kicking my wallet too much so sarku I love. The kearny location always is Standard experience for me at least. If service and food is great I'm a happy camper. Good day hope this helps

Ordered two simple rolls from the grab and go. They didn't have one I ordered so they said they would make it. Had to wait extra time because the cashier never told them they needed more rolls. So I was just standing there until I mentioned it. The lack of communication is the reason for three stars.

I ordered through Ubereats and half of my order was missing even though the receipt was on the bag with my full order listed. And then when I called the location to let them know, no one answers the phone. They have an automated system with no voicemail. This is a frustrating inconvenience. Horrible customer service.

I called the store because I order my food on DoorDash and I just wanted condiments place in the bag with my food. A lady answered the phone rude and obnoxiously, I asked her for the condiments she was huffing and puffing and then hung up the phone on me. She didn’t even place the items in the bag like I asked her to and plus half of my order was missing.

Place is clean and nice. Person behind the cashier the time we got there is friendly (I forgot what's her name, sorry) ?. Anyways food is still hot and tasty even after we drive to home for good 20mins.

Very clean inside. The food is fresh and easy to place an order. Also they have an app which you order things for pickup. You can also get points for free food and get coupons for deals. If that wasn't a mouth full there's more. It's also located in a shopping center with other stores like jersey Mike's, Buffalo wild wings, BJs, five below, Americas Best, Pet Smart, target, shop rite, dollar tree, and more. So stop by to this location!

Parking: There's handicap parking as well.

Although I have visited a couple of Sarku Japan this is my first choice one to go to if I'm in area and not to far. Food always fresh and hot, stingy with that sauce though..Although this is my favorite one every time I go in to order my food takes forever and I see people come and go who came after me, that I don't get pisses me off every time but I go back anyway.

Parking: Parking lot big enough .

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the place always alot kids and there parents dine in alot.

It’s just a teriyaki takeout chain. It’s pretty good. If I wanna keep it sloppy, I go and get me an order of chicken and beef over noodles and veggies and keep it moving.

I come here a lot since my job is up the hill. Either for my lunch or for dinner for when I get home. The staff there know me pretty well but most recently when I have been coming in The two ladies there are always giving me attitude. The one girl mumbled oh my God and rolled her eyes when I walked in today.They also have a stamp card you receive with each order of teriyaki chicken that you purchase. Once you get six stamps they’re supposed to give you a free meal and they know that I come there all the time and there was twice where they stamped another card and automatically gave it to me so each time I went I was stamping either the card they gave me last time or the one I had prior I now have five stamps on one card and four stamps on the other. The last time this happened to me I used both the stamp cards and they ended up giving me the free meal no questions asked . Last time I try to explain to them that I got all the stamps from their restaurant they were just stamping two different cards each time I came. The lady was very rude to me and I tried to explain to her that they’ve done that before asked to speak to manager he was even ruder than her. He literally slammed the sauce onto the table when I was trying to explain to him how last time they did it. So I said to just forget it and to give me my two cards back n I’ll just pay for it they ended up stamping the one that had less so I said can you just stamp the one that I have that has more and I’ll just give you this other one back. Today I went in to get my food for dinner and presented the two stamped cards to the same guy who had gave me the mail the first time I showed two different cards. First thing the manager says to me is what’s the problem this time. I was never rude to them. I’m always so nice when I go there. And simply try to explain what he did the last time. Nowhere on these cards does it say you have to have all the stamps on one card. I feel like if that was really a rule he wouldn’t of never gave me the free meal The first time I had two different stem cards that equal six. Extremely unprofessional very rude. The staff there act like they couldn’t be bothered. The energy in there is horrible. They make me feel so uncomfortable every time I go there now. Which is a shame because I’ve been buying food/lunch/dinner from them for about the past year since starting my job. They need to hire new staff ASAP. One time I had a five dollar coupon and I went to scan it and she still charged me $10 when I had a five dollar coupon. I realized after the fact that the coupon didn’t scan. Her mistake. The manager didn’t even know how to make a proper refund on the debit card. Ended having to give me cash bc he didn’t even know how to use the machine. Just a mess in there.
