Torshi in Newark is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food! The customizable bowls are packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the chicken kebab was perfectly seasoned. The ambiance is peaceful with a great view of the Passaic River, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy a meal. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the baklava was the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Mediterranean cuisine!
I have been wanting to come here for awhile. We finally made it and it was WORTH IT. I love exploring cultures through food - and this spot is definitely a local treasure. Incredible food, and incredible people working there that guide you through all the different options. Can’t wait for summertime - they have an outdoor area! The only thing missing is ——- good Egyptian COFFEE ☕️ that you could enjoy with their incredible baklava or a homemade recipe of rice pudding...
First time here and the chicken shawarma bowl was excellent… and so much food I could have easily gotten two meals from it. So many great flavors and sauces. Service was kind, helpful, and patience with my cluelessness. I’ll definitely be back.
