Shu house is one of those types of places that is tucked away and a neighborhood favor. The food is delicious and authentic. Highly recommended

Good food, generous portions and fantastic service!

All the dishes we ate except for the fried dumplings in chilli oil were moderately spiced (including the ones with a spicy sign) , very tasty, and came in generous servings. The scallion pancake was delicious, hot and sour soup was good, sesame chicken was excellent. The Shu House lo mien was very good, as was the shrimp fried rice.

Food is great. We liked all the three dishes ordered (which is not common). The hand pull noodles(手扯面) with cumin lamb is great. Lunch special portion is big!

Your Busted!!!

I did not know you need a reservation for this restaurant. Everytime we go in, we were never ask, until the restaurant was packed one day. They was asked if I booked a time slot. What a turn off. I don't mind waiting. Got a weird look like it was some upscale French restaurant or something like chef Ramsey was cooking inside.

I've enjoyed every meal out of this place. I don't visit very often, as it's not the healthiest but very tasty!

Delicious Food, Outstanding Service!

Delicious Food, Outstanding Service! We have been ordering from this restaurant since it opened and it’s truly become our go-to spot. The food is consistently delicious—the taste has never changed, and every meal feels just as special as the first. The owner is the friendliest person you’ll meet, and the service is always top-notch. Our Favorite Dishes: Garlic Sauce Dish with Chicken and Shrimp: Our absolute favorite—always packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Sesame Tofu: Deliciously crispy with a great sesame flavor. Dry Pot Dish: Spicy, savory, and full of exciting textures. Sichuan Hot & Sour Soup: The perfect balance of heat and tang. Red Curry Dish: Rich, aromatic, and satisfying. We’ve recommended this place to so many friends, and everyone agrees it’s a winner. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!

After a couple of friends recommended this restaurant, my husband and I decided to give it a try since we were in the mood for Chinese cuisine. Just so you know, this restaurant promotes itself as an Asian Fusion spot.

Upon entering, we were captivated by the beautiful mural and hanging lanterns that created an exotic ambiance. We were quickly seated and handed menus. Two ladies served us: one handed us the menu and later delivered our entrees, while the other took our orders. Since we came during lunchtime, we noticed there was a lunch menu. Here’s what we ordered:

I chose the Fermented Black Bean Fish dish, which was packed with flavor and aroma from the fermented black beans. It had a perfect balance of sweet and salty, with the onions and peppers helping to tone down the strong saltiness.

My husband ordered the Dry Pot with fish, which was cooked in a spicy sauce and included shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and a generous amount of dry chili peppers. The heat from the chilis nicely complemented the delicate fish. Both dishes featured fish that was lightly battered, quickly stir-fried, and remained tender without being overwhelmed by the other ingredients.

The waitress who handed us the menu and later delivered our dishes was incredibly pleasant, always smiling as she served us.

I like the taste of the food. The price is a little high but the food is worth it. I always say that it is best to pay for something that nourishes and not for something else.
