Not sure why this got ranked so high. Blueberry pancakes are mid at best... The syrup is high fructose corn syrup, the corn muffin while tasty, was stale. Home fries are oily. Eggs are low quality bright yellow yuck. Great service cute atmosphere. Maybe sandwiches are their specialty. I like their chili

This is a small bustling diner, with friendly wait staff. The menu is varied, and the portions generous. Lots of take out orders. We sat at the counter, and were promptly served. I ordered the homemade hash, which was indeed homemade with large chunks of corn beef. It was bland, though, and the home fries were also under spiced. Free municipal parking across the street.

Was there last night 10/31/24. Took waitress a long time to come to our table. When our order arrived, she got my order wrong. Did take it back, but when it cam back, it had less fries and no mayonnaise on it. She never came back and when she finally did, I just asked for our check and boxes. This is one of the reason I don't go to this establishment. I frequent maybe once a year and service still the same.
Nice little diner. Food was average. My one employee who came with me got his order sent out wrong like 3 times, even though we kept repeating the order. Just an ok place

Ate here last night because we happened to be in Keyport NJ at 7PM. Read that this diner was rated #1, so we figured that we might as well try it. Certainly glad we did! My husband ordered the flounder franchise special of the day. This huge dinner was covered with mashed potatoes and asparagus spears. It came with the BEST MUSHROOM SOUP we've had in a long time. And desert. For $22, not bad. I had the pork schnitzel sandwich. Never saw an item like this on a diner menu, so just had to try it. YUMMO! covered with HUGE REAL onion rings, and I ordered a fresh fruit side (blueberries, banana, kiwi, strawberries etc.) Again YUMMO. Service was great, and they make their own sodas (like Stewarts!) Deserts are prepared fresh also. If you are in the area, try this Itty bitty little diner across the street from OLD GLORY. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
