was looking for BBQ. I was in key port when I did the search and Chickee popped up. Wow. Not your typical greasy, grimy food shack bbq always seems to be. Place is finely decorated, clean, and probably the best option bbq for date night there ever can be. It is also a perfect location, on the jersey shore return, being one block in toward bay on broad and route 36. Bennies are welcome, locals too. I had the total smoke entree. We went there on a Wednesday, the place is decorated to perfection, it definitely had a farm-chic vibe. Anyway, we got the Smoked Chickee Wings to start which were great. For my meal I had the Pulled Pork Grilled cheese, which was excellent, my date got the smoked brisket Mac and cheese, which was heavy, but delicious. It was probably a pound of macaroni, and a very healthy portion of brisket. All in all, we will be back.

Really nice lunch meal in Keyport. The BBQ burnt ends and pulled pork were well done, corn bread nice and sweet and the long hots with sausage were a great. Enjoyed the interaction with Alex from the kitchen as well - nice place!
