I write reviews when it matters and only to help others. This place stands out on so many levels, but for me, service is everything and thanks to Gina it was beyond exceptional. The food, amazing and authentic. Can't wait to make this place a regular spot.

Working at a new job site and we needed to find some new places for lunch. Came across Genaro's and glad we did. Had a chicken with broccoli rabe, mozzarella and vinaigrette panini. It was great and well worth trying the place out. This place is a keeper and we will be coming back and possibly catering some future meetings. The market is great too, lots of frozen past to take home and cook. The choice of olive oils to buy was also authentic and plentiful. The atmosphere and service is great.

This little restaurant has delicious Italian cuisine, and at reasonable price given the location. This place is the opposite of many venues in Princeton, where the emphasis is on atmosphere and exclusivity. The emphasis here is wonderful food and great service and it won’t break your bank account.

Nice experience! Great food and wonderful staff. Indoor area kind of small and close. Outdoors very nice, but (obviously) lots of road noise and occasional odors. Still - we've eaten here many times, all outside, and can't wait to come back!!

A tiny market area with good but limited Italian foods. Friendly staff. Pick up frozen or refrigerated or made-fresh-daily takeout for dinner. Small amount of good gluten free pastas & packaged Italian cookies. Wish they had more space for more market products.

My Eggplant Parmesan was full of flavor and the texture was perfect. My Caprese sandwich was the absolute best. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Gennaro’s.
