OMG my family absolutely loves the Comfort Kitchen. Such a fantastic addition to Kinnelon. We have been there so many times and have tried literally everything on the menu and it is always delicious. Bri is amazing and it just feels like home when you go in. Highly recommend.

We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner this year from Comfort Kitchen Cafe and every single thing was delicious! The turkey was the best turkey everyone has had! Moist, delicious and was even carved to perfection. The mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, carrot and lasagna were amazing too. Oh and the salad! Everyone raved about the food and we will definitely be ordering again next year! Thank you for bringing this gem to Kinnelon!

We had a great breakfast at Comfort Kitchen today. The food was very good and made with top-notch ingredients. I had the daily scramble, which came on a hearty slice of bread. The eggs were light with provolone and a mix of gourmet mushrooms that elevated the flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

Love this place. Worth every penny. The first time I went here I had some scrambled eggs which I hardly order out.( because they are usually overcooked). This place made the PERFECT scrambled EGGS. If you’re into green tea I recommend trying the peach green tea. When I spoke with the owner I learned that they opened about 3 months ago and that they came from a family that was in the restaurant business. Everything here is so yummy.

What had been the Lakeside Deli was transformed into an upscale cafe. I have been there once since it became "Comfort Kitchen", so my opinion may change over time. The sandwich I ordered was excellent. The turkey seemed as if it were carved from a thanksgiving roast rather than regular deli meat. If you're looking for a traditional "deli" this is not for you, but the goal appears to be providing healthy well made non-traditional options, and in that they succeed. The only downside is probably not under their control, which is the exterior. The facade, sidewalk, etc, has been deteriorating and not maintained for years.

The quality of the food is so good. The beef in the Big Ben was cooked to order, the ham tasted like they actually smoked and cut their own ham, and all the breads tasted homemade. Much better than the typical deli slices you get at most places that serve sandwiches. Arnold Palmer and latte we got was spot on the way I like them. Well balanced flavors and not too sweet. The owner and staff were very friendly. So happy we have a place like this in our neighborhood and will definitely be coming back regularly.

Excited about this new cafe! Just opened a month ago. Immediately greeted warmly by the staff. Iced Birthday cake latte was delicious. Will come back to try out their food.
They have gluten free wraps and buns. Will offer gf desserts in the future.
