Fuji Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi & Sushi (Forked River)

Only show in town in terms of Hibachi in LT. Great vibes, pleasant staff. Food is always tasty and scrumptious. My favorite is the show the chef puts on of course always fun and inviting, catching zucchini singing happy birthday to people you meet at the table. Noodles are super good. Great time all around.

9 of us went and had hibachi for a birthday celebration. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. The food was very fresh and portions were large. Service was great and very entertaining. We will certainly be back soon.

Honestly for take out it’s a waste of money. The portions are very small and over priced quality. KOI HIBACHI in Tom’s River beats this place 10x in portion, presentation, quality and price. Some things are worth the 10 minute drive next door !!

Took my fiance for dinner last night..we were seated at cooking station for about 19 minutes then given our salad and soup after placing order.then they came after seating people who arrived after our dishes were removed to take there order..then ten minutes after this sat more people and had to wait an additional ten minutes for there last person to arrive.. truly not so bothersome at this point...so everyone orders, but 2 of the people each being from the different families that arrived had food allergies they made them aware of..(completely understandable and no problem on my end with this) ..so instead of asking us if we minded not having the usual ingredients in our meal, they just made everything to the specific needs of the people with the allergies.... I get it cross contamination... But at this point we should have been told.. the people with the specific needs food should have been prepared separately which they do all the time...(Don't want anything bad to happen to anyone with these allergies). Anyway with that being said we didn't make a scene but tried to eat our meals with all of our efforts...so I finally went up and complained about our food only to be argued with by the manager which should have handled this situation with the professionalism of a manager, not telling me then that it's what happens when you have people with food allergies....no onion.. no garlic.. no vegetables...but we had crazy glue clumped rice and tasteless noodles... Yet again I have my own allergies and want no harm to others.. but move the people that want the normal food they paid heavily for.....sorry but food quality was as it you went to Taco Bell and ordered hibachi...

Did hibachi. It was late so the hibachi chef was not completely into his job. The server and manager were overly concerned and kind regarding my husband's nut allergy. I thought the food was mediocre. My husband and daughter enjoyed their hibachi.

I've been a huge fan of the variety and the generous portions of Fuji. Lately whenever I eat out or take out , it's not that good. The prices have risen at many other restaurants and the portions shrunk. Fuji has been wonderful and fresh. The owners are extremely friendly. My usual order is the salmon bento or the choose three sushi. I usually pick the yellow tail that's incredible with scallions, spicy tuna and salmon fresh from the sea! I hope this place doesn't change
