Ordered sesame chicken. Chicken was soggy and rice was too. Was one of the worst Chinese meals I’ve had. I hate writing bad reviews but this was one of the few times I couldn’t eat the food and had to throw it out. Just wasted money and stomach is not well. We normally order from China king, but they are closed on Mondays.

I have been using New China Cafe fir many years and have never had any problem of issue with them. Always courteous and food is s generally OK for a Chinese take out. Tonight, however, I ordered Pork w/ vegetables and chicken w/ Chinese vegetables. The pork dish was fine, but the chicken dish had about 3 small pieces of chicken and all onions - no other vegetable. I don;t know what happened in the process, but something was amiss. I could not go back as it was late, and we will be out of town for the next 3 days. Also, the egg roll seemed to be overloaded with pepper. Starting to lose faith their quality.
Called to place an order for pick up, the young lady was very courteous. Was told 10-15 minutes. Went 25 minutes later and it wasn’t ready yet which wasn’t a big deal as I only waited 3 minutes after that for it to be ready. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and is definitely family run as the kids are there which is nice to see. The food was good but the chicken wings had were bland and needed some simple seasoning before frying. The disappointing part was the vegetable egg foo young. It had a funny texture and had some things in it that I couldn’t decipher. All 3 of my family members had the same complaint so it was a bummer. I would try them again and taste some different things.

Great friendly customer service.
