It was 12:30 and the restroom trashes were full, the bathroom was unkept.
The floors in a corner booth that someone destroyed was left uncleaned for the hour we were there eating lunch. Food always on point by the way.
A staff member delivered our meal and didn’t take our number away from the table and when I was leaving and handed it back to a staff member she looked perplexed as to why I was giving it to her.
I sense a refresher training course is needed here for cleaning practices. I wouldn’t want anyone staring around aimless while there are dirty floors and tables that need tending to.

The food was a 7-10 I liked it but I don't like cilantro. It's on most things and the food could use more flavor. I am Mexican so trust me when I say Mexican food doesn't have to be bland.

The food is good but it is a very common occurrence for my order to be messed up. Specifically today, ordered a bowl with no beans, I get the order (very excited at this point), meet my boyfriend, open my bowl that has a nice big sticker that says “NO BEANS” and what do I find? A bowl half-filled with beans. Tried picking them out but its literally half the substance of the bowl and makes the rice taste weird (in my opinion).

Really an amateur operation. Takeout orders are wrong at least half the time. My last visit was a large order. Two “shareables” were left out of the order. When I called about it, I was given the “option” of coming back and picking up the missing items, which would have been at least 1/2 hour round trip. I asked if it could be delivered, whereby I was told they have no in-house delivery, but I could order and have Uber deliver it, but I would have had to pay for it again.
I asked for credit, which the “manager” indicated they would provide. But here it is over 1 week later, and no credit has shown up on my credit card. They also said I would be put on some kind of “courtesy list” and would receive the missing items free on my next visit. The mere fact that they have such a system tells you all you need to know about the level of service you can expect at Surf Taco.
I’m never going back to find out if this “system” actually works, but I’d bet not.
