Went out on a night where there was bad weather so we stayed locally. Food was outstanding. Ate at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and gave helpful recommendations. I had the Grinch drink and he added a candy cane mint rim. It was oooh sooo good.

Stopped into the Tavern to wrap up a great family weekend and it was just what we wanted. Warm tavern feel, great drinks and what else could we want?

We came out to hear some live music and was so pleasantly surprised that Brian McLoughlin was playing and was absolutely amazing!! Great acoustic sound literally better then the original and I had the best espresso martini made by Brian at the Lafayette House! Can’t wait to come back highly recommend

We had our class reunion here. It was fantastic. Everyone was nice and helpful, hard working. But I have to say, watching Brian Dippel work his magic behind the bar was amazing. I think his laid back demeanor was very deceptive , because he single handedly handled over 20 of my classmates, all while filling drink orders for other diners, and still having conversations with his customers. Great Job, Brian! And great martini’s, too!

Showed up at opening time on a Sunday the day after my daughters wedding. Told them we had about 20 people coming. They immediately brought us down to the pub and started putting tables together!!! The food was terrific as always and everyone really went out of thier way to make it a great experience. A special shout out to Gunzo, he went beyond all expectations as our server and handled a last minute table of 20 like a real professional. Thank you to all involved!!

You have to do something about the noise level as it carries in the restaurant for large groups.

This is a nice place that has a few different dining options. The Revolution Lounge has a nice bar and menu. Check it out when it is all decked out for Halloween and Christmas.

Only place in the north Sussex county area to get a real piece of quality meat. And a great Wednesday prime rib special deal whole meal and some wine for around 30$. It cost me that to buy a pizza with a topping so I will get that deal all the time no questions. Even the quality and taste is amazing cooked perfectly buy there kitchen chefs.
