Love this place. We randomly chose this place while on our way to Poconos. The owner is very nice and gave me a cup of chai for free while waiting for my order. We ordered biryani. Tandoori chicken and nan. The food was so delicious! Will definitely visit this place again!

No A/C and the premises appears rundown but goodness, the food is utterly divine! The absolute best Bihari Kebab and Malai Boti can be found at this restaurant. The Butter Chicken is also quite good though appeared a tad oily. But the Bihari Kebab and Malai Boti deserve special consideration. Naan is excellent as well. The gentleman that served us was very pleasant and polite.Absolute must visit for phenomenal halal food

We were visiting from North Carolina and stopped by, had the best desi breakfast ever! Nihari, omelette, paratha, halwa puri, choley, Kashmiri chai, kadak chai, all items were incredibly delicious. We got some biryani and kabab to go as well. The owner Fawad was super kind and fun to talk to. We will definitely be back again

We were in area and was looking for Pakistani food. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken Lahori Charga, beef Nihari, butter chicken and goat korma. To our surprise the food quality and authentic flavor of each item exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous. Chicken Lahore Charga was spot on. All items were freshly made. The food was served with Achar, salad, Raita/chanti. The pink Kashmiri tea was best. It is by far most flavorful authentic Pakistani taste compared to other name brand’s Pakistani restaurants in Edison area of NJ. The restaurant do need some face lift which owner said he has plans in near future. We will visit again.

I was in the area and as usual I searched for Pakistani Halal food and Shahi Kabab popped up with 3.9 stars which I think not too bad so I gave it a try. When I walked in I felt like forget about it. That’s because the place isn’t somewhere you would wanna dine in or bring ur family. It was 93 degree outside and their AC wasn’t working at all also place needs lots of cleaning and organizing. However , here’s the good part . I ordered chicken biryani and biryani came with Raita & salad , their portion is really big and the Biryani surprised me , meaning I wasn’t expecting this kinda biryani by looking at the place ( sorry for being judgmental ? ). Chicken Biryani was really good and a perfect amount of Raita to go with it . So I highly recommend this place for chicken biryani. But again, this was my first time here and I usually don’t review the first time . So next time when I’m in the area I will definitely try something else and will edit this review if needed . For now thank you Shahi Kabab but please fix ur place .

Awesome yummy place, really liked the food and the guy was very nice. Amazing kashmiri tea, and biriyani was perfect. Definitely will be back, he said they do catering also. Very authentic, clean. Didn’t expect to like it so much, happy to find good Pakistani in our area.

Try kebab paradise kebabs across the street and try actual kebabs here. Omg one day I decided to just try it out and it was the most authentic Pakistani food. It's out of this world. When you walk in it doesn't seem like it would be that great of a place, floors are sticky. I mean that's the only thing I would complain about. You're missing out if you don't try this place, the Naan is above and beyond and the plates are plentiful.

Eat here at ur own Risk.Really the chicken tastes very dry & old ??First of all this restaurant doesn’t have a chef so the person precooks food whenever he is available. & stocks them .This restaurant is not reliable at all because they open when the owner is free.Way too much oil & salt …….??Will definitely not recommend this restaurant .

This is the best place in NJ for authentic Biryani, Kebabs and various other delicacies. The owners of the restaurant treat you like family. Fawad bhai is an excellent host. He goes out of his way to ensure that all your food needs are met and you are comfortable. Fawad’s dad is such a great person. I totally recommend this place for its lip-smacking food and the warmth with which one is treated with.
