Best Italian bakery South of the Driscoll Bridge
I went in for bread. I left with 2 different kinds of bread a pastry and a hot coffee. The service was amazing and the coffee was really good. The rye could be softer, but it's still good.
The best
I loved this bakery but unfortunately I don’t see myself coming anymore, this is the second time I buy pastries and they charge me more than what I’m supposed to be charged for , I got 5 pastries and charged me for 6 😭 I didn’t notice til I got home and it was gonna be too late for me to go back and say something.
We picked up a classic cheesecake, an Italian cheesecake, and a rum baba from Elisa’s Bakery. Everything was fresh and nicely made. The Italian cheesecake stood out — really tasty and worth trying if you stop in. Overall, a solid bakery with good options.
I've always got my pastries from Elisa's. They taste wonderful. Today I spent $40. I had 2 boxes and a loaf of semolina. I asked for a bag as it was very windy and didn't want my precious pastries to take flight. They made me pay .50¢ for a paper bag! come on Elisa's you can do better than that! $40 and multiple items don't warrant a free paper bag.

I ordered a whip cream cake for a special birthday party. I confirmed with the sales girl that it is "real whip cream". I do not want that cheap fake stuff better whip. She stated no, it's real whip cream. I picked up the cake, didn't look like real whip cream, again she said it was. I bring this cake to the party and when a took a fork full, it was that crappy better whip!! I bragged about this cake beforehand and felt embarrassed it wasn't what I said it being whip cream. I called and spoke to a manager, didn't really seem to care. The cake itself was good. Next time, next I will order a cake from Shoprite, they serve real whip cream!!
When I ordered a full sheet birthday cake (in person) the salesclerk was patient, professional and attentive to the details I requested. Great customer service! At pickup in Jan 2025, the large heavy cake was carried out to the car for me. It was beautifully decorated and exactly as expected. Again, great customer service! Best of all, at the party, many of our guests raved about the delicious cake. A fresh and moist chocolate cake filled with chocolate custard and iced with whipped cream. Excellent!

Discovered Elisa's recently while in Brick. I live an hour south and there are no bakeries in my area that offer the deliciousness and variety that is at Elisa's. So happy I stopped in.
