The desserts are made with real skill — those neat, elegant mousse cups, beautiful bon bons, and handcrafted pieces that honestly look like they belong in a fancy magazine. You walk in thinking you’re just picking something up, and then you’re standing there staring like, “Nu… how do I choose? They’re all too nice.”
And it’s not just pretty — it’s delicious. The chocolate tastes rich and high-quality, not overly sweet, and the flavors feel balanced. You can tell they’re not cutting corners. I recently ordered several cakes from this store online, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. One of the cakes—a heart-shaped cake, which was quite expensive—arrived damaged, completely broken in the middle. This was very upsetting, as I had expected a well-packaged product.
I immediately sent an email to inform them of the issue and included a photo, but no one responded. Interestingly, they had responded to the same email address when I initially made the order. I even followed up with another email and later called customer service, but received no response.
This experience has left me very frustrated, especially considering the high price of the cakes. I expected better customer service and quality from this store, and I am disappointed that they didn’t address my concerns at all.

I had previously written a review that had criticized the long delivery time. I had waited almost two hours for my cake to arrive (which never showed up) before posting my review. The Choco Shoppe was quick to respond on Google how “they decided to cancel my order because the cake would not arrive in time”. Which was totally false, because they knew I was waiting for it- why else would I be upset about the delivery time? When I tried to reach out to chat and ask for details about this issue nobody responded. I had seen my messages being read then IGNORED. When I called the store the next morning I was told my order was cancelled because the owner wanted to spite me due to the fact that “I had posted a two star review” and “you already complained about the delivery so who knows what you would say about the cake” Seriously?! All you care about is your online image? How come you didn’t try reaching out to me privately if you didn’t like what was written? If only someone would have responded to my messages (or just to let me know the cake was still on its way) I may have changed my review to something positive. Apparently they don’t care about their customers enough. A store that behaves this way certainly doesn’t deserve to be patronized. I will NEVER order from you again. You deserve zero stars.
